Sweetwater Escape is the perfect mountain hideaway for guests looking for a cozy cabin big on comfort and charm. Combining the appeal of an escape on the coveted banks of Fightingtown Creek with the desire for space and seclusion tucked away in the north Georgia Mountains, Sweetwater Escape is a gem.

Comfortable emersion in the outdoors inspired the layout, furnishings, and amenities for Sweetwater Escape. Decorated with a sophisticated country flair, this vacation rental welcomes with a spacious open floor plan with a seasonal woodburning fireplace and flat screen TV. The home features a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, perfect for family dinners. Sweetwater Escape’s Master Suite boasts a new king bed and ensuite bath. The second bedroom, also on the main level, delivers with a comfortable queen bed. On the terrace level is a third bedroom with a queen bed, along with an additional living space with an electric fireplace, flat screen TV, game room with kitchenette and board games, darts, and a pool table that converts to ping pong. The cabin Game Room complete with kitchenette, interchangeable Pool/Ping Pong Table, Dart board and second electronic fireplace. The home also offers WIFI so guests can stay connected and laundry room with washer and dryer for convenience.

Outside, both levels of the cabin offer easy access to indoor and outdoor living space, with a new gas grill, outdoor dining, and screened porch accessible on the main level. The terrace level also offers walk out access to the firepit (guests supply firewood) for time huddled around the campfire, as well as the steamy hot tub, a comfy porch swing, and additional seating.

When the spirit of adventure calls, guests can grab a picnic lunch or fishing gear and follow the nature trail down to the banks of Fightingtown Creek for a day of fun amid the mountain laurels and the cool rushing water. While there is plenty to do at the cabin, the home offers an ideal location for accessing local attractions like Whitewater Rafting on the Ocoee River, excursions on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, horseback riding, or the unique local Shopping and Dining options in nearby downtown Blue Ridge!

Please Note: This home offers Free Fun Included Every Day! To enhance guests vacation experience, this rental includes Xplorie, which means one free admission or rental everyday of stay to some of the most popular attractions the area has to offer!

Cabin fireplaces are available seasonally from October 1 – March 31, and during those times 10 sticks of firewood is provided per night guests are here for wood burning fireplaces. If you burn through the wood left out for the interior fireplace you will be responsible for purchasing more. Guests are responsible for purchasing the firewood they use in outdoor fire pits or outdoor fireplaces. Firewood bundles are available for purchase at many local stores and gas stations or you can contact our office to purchase firewood and arrange to have it delivered before your arrival.

Please note - prior to booking there is 25 years of age minimum requirement & must be the card holder and be present during entire stay and is strictly enforced. Driver's License will be required and requested for all bookings. Failure to meet minimum age requirement upon check-in guest will be evicted and will NOT be refunded for the entire stay.

Non Pet Friendly Policy: This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note if an unauthorized pet is found in the vacation home, we will ask that it be removed immediately and a non-refundable fee of $500 (sometimes up to $1,000) will be charged.

No Smoking of any kind is permitted in the property: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $200.00 penalty fee.

We provide a complimentary starter set of paper products, toiletries and linens. Additional items will be the guest’s responsibility to purchase.
