Great outlook in rural Basque Spain

A good-sized living space with fantastic views of the mountains and Elorrio below. We spent a week here exploring Basque Spain, La Rioja, Bilbao and the Biscay coastline. Good local amenities, wonderful walking routes through a beautiful landscape and some great eateries and food festivals to try across the region.

Großes Ferienhaus in TOP-Lage

Wer ein großflächiges und schön gelegenes Urlaubsdomizil abseits des Touristenrummels sucht, liegt hier richtig. Vom Flughafen Bilbao nur etwa 40 Fahrminuten entfernt, ist man von dort schnell an der Küste und in diversen Naturparks zum Wandern. Die beiden sehr netten Nachbarn Mikel und Jone verwalten das Objekt und sind jederzeit hilfsbereit zur Stelle. Zur Objektbeschreibung von InterHome 2 Anmerkungen: "geeignet für Senioren" gilt nur eingeschränkt, da die enge und steile Treppe in die Obergeschosse etwas tricky ist. "Tiere in der Umgebung" bezieht sich u.a. auf nächtliches Hundegebell aus den umliegenden Gehöften, was man in Spanien immer erwarten muss. Stabile und ausreichende Internetverbindung/WLAN über Funk auch für Videokonferenzen. Die Sauberkeit in der Küche war nicht 100%, was überwiegend an den sehr abgewohnten Einbaumöbeln liegt. Auch die Schrankeinbauten in den übrigen Räumen sind sehr einfach, was aber nicht schlimm ist. Toller spanischer Holzfußboden in den Schlafräumen, der übrige Fußbodenbelag mit Fliesen hat bereits ziemlich viele Schäden. Für intensive Speisenzubereitung mussten wir die Küchenausstattung erst mit einem Großeinkauf ergänzen,; die Kosten hat uns der Vermieter erstattet. Nach 1 bis 2 Tagen haben wir uns die beiden Wochen dort sehr wohl gefühlt, der Vermieter sollte das Haus besonders im Küchenbereich etwas modernisieren. Daher beim Gesamteindruck nicht 5, sondern nur 4 Sterne.

Ferienwohnung Villa Ellorio

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus etwas außerhalb von Elorrio. Landschaftlich sehr schön gelegen. Großer Garten mit gepflegtem Rasen, daher gut geeignet für Familien mit Kindern. Das Haus war sauber und gepflegt, wobei die eine oder andere kleine Reparatur aussteht. Die Küche war ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war insgesamt hervorragend. Der Gastgeber sowie die Bewohner der angrenzenden Haushälfte, Mikel und Jone, waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
