Beautiful island home modeled after traditional West Indian design

Manana is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa on the southeast coast of Anguilla with views of St. Martin, St. Barts, Statia, and on a clear day St. Kitts and Nevis. Built is 2005 it is a traditional West Indian design utilizing ample amounts of Anguilla stone and gingerbread trim in its architectural features. Doors and windows are made of South American red cedar and are heavily constructed to withstand hurricane force winds.

The property is completely enclosed by a handmade stone wall and fencing. The gardens are planted with a variety of indigenous and tropical plants which create a beautiful low maintenence setting. From an infrastructure perspective the villa is energy efficient and eco-friendly. Electrical power is produced by a 8.2 KW solar pv system. The villa is primarily "off the grid" with the exception of an electric oven/microwave and local power is available should it be required. Water is provided by rain water collection into the 40,000 gallon cistern which is plenty for normal running of the property. New in 2018 are cook top, washer and dryer, gas hot water heater, pool pump and water pump.

The infinity edge pool is the centerpiece of the outdoor space and there is a large covered veranda around 3/4 of the house that lends itself to expansion of the living space if desired. This is a well maintained, cost effective waterfront home ready for viewing at any time.

A week in paradise
I highly recommend this beautiful oceanfront rental. Booking Villa Manana and the checking in process was simple. On arrival we were greeted by Bibi who was available to answer questions and help if we needed anything. The owner of the property, Greg was also available and provided quick response. The house had everything we needed and 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs which we used every day! The pool was crystal clear and perfect temperature! The location was great for East Shoal Bay. We would love to return to this property on our next Anguilla adventure!!

Perfect family vacation!
My family had the best stay at Villa Manana. The house is perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The pool was gorgeous. We loved being able to come back to the villa after spending the days at the beach. Thank you!

Manana delivers a truly great vacation!
My wife and I, plus our daughter, son-in-law, and 5-year old granddaughter were there the first week, and then Sherry and I (Doug) stayed on for another 2 weeks. The villa was clean, well laid out, and the A/C in the bedrooms was great, as was having a washer and dryer! The pool and view made for a very relaxing visit. The staff were very friendly, and accommodating, because they did their thing to suit our schedule, and not theirs! Sherry and I have been coming to Anguilla for 40 years, and this villa was the most enjoyable. We look forward to future trips to Anguilla! Thank you Greg!

Review of Anguilla House
House was fine. Location on East End not as ideal as northwest end but the view was wonderful. The house was not prepared as well as would have liked. The propane gas tank was empty. The drinking water gave out after 24 hours. There was no television channels when we arrived. There was no instructions how to get channels. I contacted owner and house keeper and they rectified the problems. The TV was finally connected the next day to a fire stick with the help of a nice fellow from Digicel. There needs to be more preparation next time. Written instructions for use of TV is needed. On the other hand, owner and house keeper were available and responsive.

Beautiful Villa, Great Views, and Very Helpful Host!
We spent 7 nights at the property in January 2024. The Villa was very clean and well maintained with all of the comforts of home provided. From the beautiful pool with a stunning view of St. Maarten and other islands, to air conditioned bedrooms, to washer and dryer, everything was perfect. The location is quiet and the host was incredibly helpful with all requests and pre-planning help. I would highly recommend staying at this property, and hopefully we will be able to come back in the future.

A beautiful view
We had a wonderful time at Villa Manana, which is located on the East end of the island. It has a spectacular view of several Caribbean Islands on clear days. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and baking and the property manager and owner were both very responsive when we had questions during our stay. This is a great option for a single family looking for a house on the Island!

Beachy Anguilla!
We visited Anguilla for the first time and stayed at Villa Manana. The view from the villa is amazing with the pool a real highlight. Both Greg and Bibi were gracious and accommodating from booking to departure. The villa's kitchen was well-equipped. The location, on the east end of the island, was very private and quiet. Being the off-season, many of the restaurants and resorts were not open. Greg was wonderful in providing us with a list of properties staying open and those that were closed (and reopening dates). Would highly recommend Ocean Echo and Cip's. The beaches are beautiful! We visited Shoal Bay East, Meads Bay, Maundays Bay (access through Cap Juluca Resort) and Rendezvous Bay. All were awesome. We preferred Rendezvous Bay or Meads Bay. Everyone was very friendly and gracious!

Perfectly relaxing getaway
I highly recommend this beautiful property for families who are looking for a great ocean front view and a pool. The property is clean and well-maintained, and the owner, Greg, is responsive and helpful throughout the rental process. The home is also well-equipped with everything guests need for an enjoyable vacation. Overall, it’s a great choice for families looking to have a relaxing and fun vacation by the beach. My husband and our two kids plan on coming back!
