Spectacular Villa Vista Melones Second Floor

Relax at this peaceful private place in the exclusive community of Melones. It has one of the most spectacular ocean sceneries in the island. Simply breath taking! You will not be disappointed. Many water activities available on the island and one of the 9 most beautiful beaches in the world! Flamenco Beach among several others.
The space
The upstairs apartment has a similar layout as downstairs. However, it does have magnificent high wood ceilings and vintage fans, both in the living room and the bedroom. In addition, the porch is much different with wood ceilings and surrounded with see through acrylic and wood banisters. There are two hammocks that let you relax and enjoy the 300 hundred degree + view. Both floors have breathtaking views! That said, there is a different look and feel to the upstairs apartment.

Other things to note,
Five minute walk to Melones beach downhill.
These two separate apartments can be rented together if schedule permits to accommodate a maximum of eight individuals.

This place is AHHHmazing! The view is beautiful, the covered porch with glass sides is so perfect, it really could not get any better. The house is up a fun steep hill, and secluded from any other homes. The doors and windows open wide to let the fresh constant breeze in, and most of the windows have screens for the evening time. The kitchen is well stocked with many high quality items you need to enjoy cooking. There are plenty of linens and fresh full pillows, the bed is comfy, and the pull out couch is a good pull out couch. The washer dryer was excellent. Everything at this home is very nice quality and clean. The AC in the bedroom doesn’t get very cool, so it can be a bit warm at night, both in the bedroom and living room, but comfortable with the provided fans. The single door at the back of the house (not on the porch) is missing a screen, We covered it with paper bags to keep the mosquitos out. The host was very nice and responsive once we got in touch. We did have trouble contacting him the day of check in when we never received the check in info. I got a bit worried when we had already arrived in Culebra and had to contact VRBO. I guess there was an issue with the vrbo messaging or something, sounds like it was not the fault of the host. Once connected, he was very kind and helpful. Thanks William! Culebra is a very special place. We loved it with our two 6 year olds! Hike out on the point (east side of it) that you can see from the porch. :) so fun!

What a view!!

The view from this house is amazing and I never got tired of it! The house itself is nice, bed was comfortable and it was quiet even when we had neighbors. I wish the kitchen was more usable but that’s my only wish!

Great stay - what a view!

The views from are just gorgeous. Waking up every day to the 180 degree view of the beautiful Culebra water was sublime. We are seasoned Culebra visitors, this was number 22! The views from this unit are among the best we've had on the island.The unit is quite up-to-date for Culebra. AC in the bedroom worked well.Communication with William was easy as he is very responsive.Overall we had no real issues with our stay though there are several items that need servicing (that William is aware of and has work orders for) One suggestion is for some new outdoor furniture as one wicker chair was broken and the folding chairs aren't really comfortable for enjoying the view. An outdoor dining table would be a nice addition as well. This unit didn't come with beach chairs, which would also be a very nice amenity.Overall, we loved staying here and we will be back for those views!

Out stay was too short!

William's house was perfect for us. The Tradewinds and a fan were enough to keep us cool while we spent mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the views. Our days were spent on Culebra's amazing beaches. Visitors should definitely get a jeep (not a golf cart) as the house is on top of a steep hill. But the view is worth it. We'll be back!!

Overlooking Melones

Once again Culebra did not disappoint in any way. We have been coming here for over ten years now and this house was one of the better accommodations to date. Easy to get to this house and local to much of what the island has to offer. Our host was communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The kicker was the outstanding view from this house. Doesn’t get much better. There are few places on the island that offer a better sunset than we had each night from the deck. We will be back soon. Rod and Terri

Incredible stay with an amazing view

The house was perfect for our new year's stay. The sunsets from the porch were incredible and the house had all the basics (cookware, coffee maker, soaps, etc). The snorkeling right down the road at Melones was phenomenal and all of the main attractions are within a 10-15 minute golf cart ride away. We have no complaints and would love to stay again in the future.
