Welcome to Creekside Hideaway II!

Creekside Hideaway II is a lovely mountain cabin situated on a large, private wooded lot with a gorgeous, tumbling creek that runs through the back of the property. The level yard offers an open play area for kids of all ages. The playground includes a playhouse with a slide, a seesaw, swings, tetherball, and BEST of all, a Tube Slide off the deck that takes you to the playground! The campfire is just over the wood bridge in the backyard. Enjoy a meal at the picnic table next to the creek, relax on the wrap-around rocking chair porch listening to the soothing sounds of the creek, or take a dip in the hot tub that overlooks the creek!
Inside, the home welcomes you with an open floor plan. As you enter, you are greeted with a splendid view of the knotty pine wood staircase and tasteful lodge decor. A spacious living room with cathedral ceilings, a fireplace, a recliner, and a large flat-screen TV. The dining room features beautiful knotty pine wide-plank wood floors and a dining table large enough for eight. Fully equipped kitchen to make a feast or just a cup of coffee. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen-size bed, and a bathroom between the two bedrooms. The huge master bedroom is located upstairs with an attached master bath. The master bedroom has its own private balcony that overlooks the creek. Down the hallway from the Master bedroom is the loft with 2 log bunk beds, great for the kids!

This spacious home offers the ultimate mountain experience while having all the modern conveniences and comforts of home, including a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, extra loft space for 4 additional guests, HD digital cable, flat-screen TVs, Smart TVs, Roku, Free WiFi, and unlimited free local and long-distance phone calls.

We loved our time at Creekside Hideaway II, it was the perfect set up for us and our 3 children (11, 9, and 2). When we usually visit an area like Maggie Valley, I feel like I need to find fun things to do nearby to fill up the days - but that pressure was relieved this past weekend because the cabin was so nice. We spent much more time at the cabin than we have on past trips, and spent most of our time playing in the stream or on the playground equipment, and enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. Our kids have already made us promise that we’ll try to return to the Creekside Hideaway II sometime soon, and it’s great to know that we can book with such a friendly and responsive host. We’re looking forward to next time!

The hot tub was perfect. It was cleaned before our arrival and as soon as we turned on the jets, the hot water heated up the entire tub immediately. The creek was lovely and was a nice background sound for sleeping. The cabin had everything we needed and our host was great with communication.

Very beautiful and the playground and creek was a perfect touch for our combined 5 kids! We enjoyed exploring and building little snowmen and throwing snowballs at each other! Very close to shops and good drives to fun hikes, trails and waterfalls! We even saw three elk down the street! Will definitely be back!!

What a great cozy cabin! My family had a wonderful experience! Property manager was quick to assist one small issue that we had plenty of room for sleeping, the cabin was clean, with a fully stocked kitchen. The kids loved the playground outside and their adults all love the hot tub. The creek running through the back was very peaceful in the fire pit was perfect. We absolutely had a great time while visiting Maggie Valley. Would definitely rent again.

The cabin was homey with a gas fireplace, 2 great king sized beds, bunk beds and plenty of fun things for young kids to do in the yard. The hot tub was ready to use as soon as we arrived. This is our second week we have rented the home. Loved the creek's babbling sound effects along with the firepit.

We were very disappointed with this rental. The pictures are obviously very old. The house needs some updating. The kitchen and bathroom sinks in particular. Also the bathroom sink is so low, you get a back ache when you are brushing your teeth. The dining room table is unique as it is all wood however, the seats are so heavy they are difficult to move. Future renters should be aware that they are only allowed one bag of trash. If you have more, there are instructions to take it to the dump or face a 35.00 fee. I have rented numerous places in North Carolina and have never had to deal with the trash!!! The last thing I want to do on vacation is go to the dump.The backyard (which is the main reason I rented this property) was awful. The playground equipment was nasty and needed a good power washing. I understand it is in the woods but if you are charging good money, at least make an effort to make it clean. I discouraged my grandson from going on it for fear of him catching something.The creek was as pictured and beautiful - Thank You Mother Nature.

Well kept cabin with well stocked kitchen. The facility is dated but the comfy beds, large dining, ample pots/pan, utensils, outdoor grill, etc. made our stay pleasant. Managing around just two washrooms with 10 in our party was a bit challenging but manageable.

Everything was AWESOME. Check in was easy with no hassle at all. Everything we needed to cook was there already and that made it a lot easier. The kids had a blast and the place was gorgeous. We hated for our little get away to come to an end.

We had a family reunion with my sisters and their spouses all renting nearby cabins too. Ours was the hit with the little ones (grands). Such a pleasant place. Very, very peaceful. We even saw elk walk down the road one evening. Magnificent!

My family has been staying at this location for many years, it is always clean and very comfortable. My grandchildren like the playground and creek so much we have difficulty convincing them to go on excursions. They all want to stay and live there forever. Leslie is an excellent host and always makes sure we have a contact available if something is needed. To date, we have not needed to contact her as the home is always ready and everything advertised is there and working.

Our Mothers Day retreat!!

Fantastic home for a retreat

My family of five adults and two children absolutely loves our time here at the hideaway! Leslie welcomed us kindly the beds were extremely comfortable!! The slide from the porch was such an awesome addition my grand daughter absolutely loved it!!! There is a beautiful creek in the backyard you can hear it running from inside if you open the windows there were a lot of amenities but I must mention the hot tub was wonderful as wellThe home was clean and well kept! My family will be back! Thank you Leslie for such a wonderful stay!

Whispering creek

Very beautiful home amazing property we loved the creek the hot tub well we just loved everything about it. Very spacious plenty of things for adults and children to do. A great place to go when you really don't want to do anything but relax and enjoy yourself with everything that's just right there
