This beautiful compact ensuite room with a writing desk. 15m2 private double room in a boho village chateau with a balcony over the walled garden. You have shared access to the vast facilities: kitchen, garden, yoga shala for yoga and meditation. If writing is your thing, you might be interested to know that Marce Proust visited, and other guests have written their books here.

Chalabre is a mediaeval bastied town of historical interest, located at the confluence of 3 rivers and 5 country lanes. Much remains original and unrenovated, but it has all the facilities you need in walking distance: bakery, supermarket with launderette, bank, pharmacy and more.

The region is absolutely stunning, one of France's best kept secrets: fascinating history and oustanding natural beauty.

Nearby Lac Montbel is a gorgeous place to hang out, swim and party at night. The village has art and music festivals during the summer.

This is self-catering. The kitchen is stocked with basics and included are warm drinks (tea and coffee). Or go out in the village or nearby restaurants to eat.

There is free WIFI throughout the property.

Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

House Rules:

- Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time from the room is 10am but you are welcome to stay a little longer in the common areas.
- The Yoga Shala is available for yoga and meditation only - please respect it as a quiet space. No drinks or food allowed in the shala. Access is by appointment.
- Smoking is not allowed indoors
- There is free parking in the street and a electric car charging station 1 minute walk away
- Pets are not allowed at the property.
