There is a kitchen, charming living room, small city garden & 2 spacious bedrooms with 2 private bathrooms. All this within walking distance of all historical sites, museums, shops, and restaurants. Ready to visit Bruges in style?

Guesthouse Groeninghe is a traditional, restored Bruges house with a cozy sun terrace, ideal for a romantic overnight stay in Bruges.

The iconic Groeninghe accommodation is only a 5-minute walk from the Groeninge Museum, the Burg, the Belfry, and the Marketplace. Would you like to taste a mix of culture, history, and gastronomy in Bruges? Then this is the place to be.
Here you will find everything you need after a day of sightseeing in the center of Bruges.

Going up the stairs you reach the first bedroom which has a dressing room as well as a suite and bathroom. On the top floor, you will find the second bedroom with a bathroom.
Both rooms come with little extras that we know will make your romantic stay in Bruges special, such as fluffy towels and luxury bath products.
Rarely has coziness been so stylishly combined with luxury. The award-winning team of interior designers has equipped this holiday home in Bruges with all modern conveniences while retaining its original charm.


We are located within 5 minutes' walking distance of all the famous sights, attractions, and restaurants within the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

During your stay, you can enjoy a harmonious setting where we combine the best of both worlds.
We provide high-quality linens and bedding. The first bedroom has a fantastic king-size bed with a large dressing room. On the other side of the room, you will find the renovated but authentic bathroom with a wonderful bath where you can shower and bathe.

The second bedroom is located on the top floor with a king-size bed and also has an en-suite bathroom. The only difference is that this one has a shower and not a bath. we also provide bath linen and bathroom essentials such as shampoo and hand wash which smell great!


"Groeninghe" is a unique mansion that shows a rare mix between medieval features and luxury. All furniture and decoration are carefully selected to achieve a beautiful combination that breathes old Bruges.

Guests have full access to the whole house, including the hall, living room, kitchen, terrace, bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is accessed via a private entrance with a code lock. The instructions will be sent shortly in advance.

The house is located in the UNESCO city center of Bruges where the horse-drawn carriages pass the front door. This makes for a great experience and feeling with the history of Bruges.

A 5-minute walk takes you to the cathedral, the belfry and all other must-sees. A 3-minute walk away is the "Groeningemuseum" which provides a varied overview of the history of Belgian visual art, with the top paintings of the world-famous Flemish Primitives.
Museums, shops, restaurants and sights are within walking distance.

Need a fresh sea breeze? The Belgian coast and sea can be reached in 20 minutes by car. (preference Knokke, possibly De Haan, Nieuwpoort)

ACCESSIBILITY
The house is easily accessible by public transport and car. Luggage can be unloaded comfortably in front of the door for a few minutes and then you can park the car in the underground parking garage Katelijne.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
There is a bus stop 250 meters from the house. Buses 1 and 11 depart from the front of the station at platform 1, you need to get off at the stop “Garenmarkt (Bus 1 & 11)”.

You can also take a taxi from the station to the house, which will cost about 5 euros. Taxis are located at the station next to the buses.

PARKING
Parking is possible in the public parking "Parking Katelijne" (costs around €14 / 24 hours) and is a 200m walk from the house.

- We provide soft and thick bath towels. One large and one small towel per guest, per stay.
- We offer quality shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap.
- We provide olive oil, salt & pepper, washing-up liquid, kitchen towel, kitchen towel and a kitchen sponge and kitchen paper, etc ...

HOUSE RULES
- Smoking is not allowed with us.
- We do not allow parties.
- Pets are allowed on request and only after the confirmation. There is an extra charge for hygiene reasons.
- We ask all our guests to respect the quiet hours between 11 pm - 7 am. (police regulations)
- We ask all our guests to use everything with respect as if it were their own.
1. Check-In/Out Times:
Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is at 11 am.
If you need some flexibility, let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Exceptions can be asked. Luggage storage before or after is always an option.

2. Parking:
Please park your car in one of the public underground parkings (safe and cheap, 15 euro/24 h). Unloading can be done in front of the building.

Please note that you could incur a fine of up to 40 e for breaking neighborhood parking regulations.

3. Respect the Peace—No Parties:
Keeping noise levels down, especially between 10 pm and 8 am, helps maintain a good relationship with our community and avoids you experiencing any neighbor complaints.

4. Smoke-Free Stay:
Our home is a strict no-smoking zone, which helps us maintain a fresh environment.

5. No Extra Guests:
If you plan to have visitors during the day, no problem. But please make sure the only guests who stay overnight are those listed in your reservation.

This helps us follow local ordinances on maximum occupancy and keep our home comfortable and safe for everyone.

6. Trash and Recycling:
We appreciate your help in separating recyclables: [see checkout mail day before checkout].

This small step makes a big difference to the environment and will help us avoid a fine.

7. Handling Damages:
Accidents happen. If something gets damaged, please let us know so we can take care of it.

8. Simple Clean-Up:
Before you leave, please wash and put away any dishes or kitchenware you've used, so our housekeeper doesn’t have any extra work to do when preparing for our next guests.

But please don’t feel you have to strip the beds or wipe the floors, we’ll take care of that!

Sweet home in Bruges

This is a lovely little house, with everything you need on vacation: full kitchen, comfortable beds, great shower, and a very luxurious bath tub! Navigating the steep and narrow stairs was a little bit of a challenge (I went down backwards!), but the location, furnishings, and beautiful setting are well worth it.
