The layout has a great room concept with soaring ceilings. Over 3,600 sf, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Large patio & covered deck for soaking in the trees and sunshine. The perfect getaway in a peaceful setting. Come unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy easy access too all the goodness of the Northwest.
Guest access:
The Lake Samish Cabin is set in the trees, adjacent to Lake Samish. We do not have lake access but we do have several public access options to the lake within minutes from our house, where you can kayak, paddle board, swim, etc. The Lake Cabin Loft is also located on the property. We will give you your privacy and space, but you may see us coming and going.
The neighborhood:
This cabin is nestled in South Bellingham in the mountains & forest of Lake Samish at the end of a private drive. (10 min to downtown). The house does not have lake access, but is 3 min to Lake Samish Park, a public beach or 5 min to Lake Padden Park.
Getting around:
You are close to all Bellingham has to offer in a central location within (Fairhaven, Downtown, Lake Samish, Galbraith, Samish Lookout, Larabee State Park, Oyster Dome, Edison, etc) A car is required to get around for sure!
NO Lake ACCESS at the Cabin.
The cabin is a 3-minute drive to lake access: 1)The Lake Samish Public Boat Launch or 2) Lake Samish Park. 3) Lake Padden Park (5min)
Beds:
1) Bedroom 1: Downstairs Master Suite: new king size bed, private full bath - soaking tub & double shower
2)Bedroom 2: Downstairs Flex Room: comfortable queen sofa bed/TV room (uses downstairs bath)
3) Bedroom 3: Upstairs Queen Suite: new queen memory foam bed with private bath - full bathtub & shower
4) Bedroom 4: Upstairs Flex room: two twin beds - one twin converts to a King bed (please request king and we will have it ready) can sleep up to 3 people in this room
5) Upstairs loft area: sectional sofa - can make into a twin - sleeps 1 (please request bedding)
We do have a black and white cat “Daisy” who lives on the property. You may see her around, ok to pet her, she is very friendly.
