You can also visit the wonder of Cheddar Gorge and its caves, and not forgetting Wookey Hole. Bath is a short drive away with its famous abbey, Roman Baths and Thermae Spa, along with gorgeous Georgian architecture. If you are looking to explore slightly further afield, Longleat, with its safari park, Stonehenge and Avebury are all within a 1.5 hour car journey - and are always a great day out.
