Had a wonderful stay at Seas the Day. The house was very clean, steps from the beach and close to restaurants. The pool was so refreshing after a long day at the beach! Will definitely stay here again! Left beach chairs/umbrella and volleyball for next guests. Enjoy!

Fantastic location for couples or family of 4

Outstanding location steps away from the beach. Wonderfully renovated house that is clean, tidy, and cozy. Fresh furniture, beds, linens, and fixtures. Pool is delightful with privacy fencing and temperature control. I don't think anyone could do better on Anna Maria Island if you're a couple or family of 4.This would have been a 10/10 but there were some basic things missing for a beach house. The misses are probably because it's a totally refurbished property. They can easily be fixed. There was only 1 trashcan in the house and it was in the master bath. The wifi name and password provided weren't valid. Management company never responded to text about this. There were no pool floats, not even a noodle. No umbrella for poolside table. For the beach, no cooler, no tote bag, no insulated tumblers with lids, no umbrella, no chairs, etc. Having rented many beach places over the years and flying to destinations, those are minimum expectations. Fortunately for the next guests, I left a beach umbrella & spike, chairs, and noodles to help things along the way. Hopefully the property management can fill in the other gaps. Again, this is a great stay, it just needs a little more equipment to make it perfect.

This was a great home for a long weekend with our family, home was very clean and the check in process was easy. Love the quick walk to the beach and the pool was our favorite.

Very disappointed customer

For my daughter's birthday, we decided to rent Seas The Day, in Anna Maria Island. It was expensive, but we saw the pictures online and the place looked really good, a cute small cottage house with a private pool, pet friendly and close to the beach. On arrival day, we couldn't believe our eyes! The home looked old and neglected, it was on a main street with a lot of construction noise around, the a/c inlet filter was extremely dirty, 2 broken furniture, a dead cockroach in second bedroom, the pool was dirty, the backyard had toys and trash left from previous guests, leaves were everywhere, in a few words, nothing looked like in the pictures. There was a door alarm on the backyard door which we couldn't reactivate, no cushions on the lounge chairs next to the pool (although they were there in the pictures). If we had the option to get our money back, we would have definitely left on the same day. I called at least 3 times Vacasa customer service and I also sent them photos from the pool and the backyard area and I asked for the manager to call me back to arrange some time for someone to come and clean at least the pool, but nobody ever called me back to address my complaints. Don't spend your money for this rental, the area is beautiful and I am sure there will be many other houses worthy to rent. I will never trust this website to book vacation rentals again, and I will keep posting reviews to other websites too. Pictures are available upon request.

Great cozy house, but the pool was a problem

House was nice and cozy for my wife and I, we stayed for 8 days and greatly enjoyed it. We did have problems though, the company that manages the pool, LaPensee. We were not able to use the pool for 5 of the 8 days we were there! A LaPensee worker came by mid trip and tested the water, then told us we couldn't get in until further notice, because of algae and a failed water test. but didn't clean it since a thunderstorm was coming in. He said someone would come by the next day. No one did. On Friday I called Vacasa who were super helpful, they called LaPensee, who told them everything was fine with the pool. I challenged that, so they called them back and told them to send someone out there. The same guy came back and I showed him the algae that was still there, and he said it must've come back because they scrubbed it, which I never saw evidence of nor was told anything at all. He said since it was Friday, and he didn't have the right chemicals since he wasn't a supervisor, it wouldn't be until Tuesday before they could take care of it. We checked in Saturday 5/20, and checked out Monday 5/29. We didn't get to use the pool on 5/24, 5/25, 5/26, 5/28, or 5/29. They definitely dropped the ball on this, and based on other reviews for this property, it isn't the first time. I don't blame Vacasa, as it was LaPensee that let us down, but we paid to use the house AND the pool during our stay! Very disappointing. I can't say we are likely to rent this property again after this.

The house is in disrepair. We did not even stay and had to find a hotel. Ripoff

The house is in disrepair. We have the pictures. We did not feel safe or comfortable there. We contacted the rental company Vacasa asking for a refund. It’s been two weeks. We asked before travels about the condition of the property and they lied to us. We want our money back. I am a teacher. Money is tight. This was an anniversary weekend ruined. Vacasa and by extension VRBO should be ashamed of themselves.

Our stay

All in all it was a great vacation . Our only complaint would be that the pool area had trash on the floor and a bunch of hair balls floating in the pool that we had to get out before we could swim . The alarm on the door was an inconvenience always having to remember th hit the bypass button ! It actually went off in the middle of the night several times too !

Perfect vacation home!

We had 4 adults and 3 kids under 5 and we all had a great time! The house was a convenient, short walk to the beach for the beautiful sunrise then the private pool in the backyard was perfect to relax in. Will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect location to get to the beach restaurants in the town of Ana Maria

The two bedroom cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay we loved the heated pool and the close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico plus restaurants grocery store definitely will be returning

Seas the Day

I was happy with the cleanliness of the cottage. The kitchen was well appointed and the “starter” products for both kitchen and bath were a pleasant surprise. There were plenty of towels. (Friends have had experiences at other rentals on AMI without enough towels for each person.) The management company was very responsive when I had issues getting into the property. I would have liked to access the property by a key code rather than the key. There was also an issue with the pool when we arrived. However, management had someone at the house within an hour of check in and there was a pool tech there three additional times the week we were there. Overall a nice visit and I would stay at Seas the Day again.

First time visitor to Anna Maria Island

We were very lucky to have rented this place. Without knowing much about the area, or how big Anna Maria is, this place was exactly right for us. It was in a super quiet private area, steps from the beach, with some nice restaurants close. We were able to get most of what we needed walking only a few blocks. The pool in the backyard was nice for those days that were a little too cold for the beach as we were there early in the season. There was a place for everyone to be without being on top of each other. It was decorated so cute, we loved the house and loved the island.

Check in and condition of the house.

Our key pad didn’t work. Luckily there was a guy working on it when we got there. He even said “I don’t know how you guys would have got in if I wasn’t here.” He did give us a key. And took the battery out of the alarm on the back door. Then a few days later another guy showed up to try to fix it, but was also unable. I had emailed the property manager about extending our stay and they did respond but it took a while. If I would of had to email them about getting into the property, we would have had to find other accommodations for that night. Overall, the house was fine. The location was awesome for what we needed. The mattresses and living room rug could use replacement and the pool was pretty dirty(you couldn’t even see the bottom). Also the shower door in the master bathroom was broken. When you tried to slide it, it came off. Not trying to be picky,but we had 4 other families that stayed in houses on the island and the running joke was the condition of our house.

Property has flooding/drainage problem

At first walk in we were delighted , then found the Backdoor to pool and yard had sandbags piled up. Yard and pool full of leaves and not prepared for guests. Couldn’t use the pool for 3 of the 4 days we were there. Vacasa was accomodating as much as they could be at that time . The owners of the property need to fix the drainage problem before they rent it out .

We have stayed here before and again enjoyed it. However there was an alarm on the back door that was not mentioned and it kept going off unless my husband held the button or we did not use the back door to the pool. No one came until Monday, but we had dismantled the alarm by then.

Disappointing stay on Coconut

Following up on our stay at the house on Coconut Dr . July 6th- 12th. (We left a day early) I am not one to complain however I did have certain expectations when paying as much as we did to rent the house . When we arrived our first impression was the entry door. It was disgusting dirty . I would think the house would be cleaned between guest . It wasn’t only the front door but the back door as well . During our stay we realized that the master shower filled up with water when showering and did not drain until sometime after the shower was complete, leaving us to stand in dirty water while trying to get clean. The dishwasher does not function correctly, the soap dispenser door does not open during the wash cycle most of the time, therefore the dishes did not get clean when I ran it . I ran it three times with the same dishes and then finally just opted to hand wash them from that point on. Not exactly something I wanted to do on vacation. The master mattress was horrible to sleep on, but not quite as bad as the one on the pull out couch. None of the furniture matched, I felt like we were staying in a house that’s furnishings were bought at a yard sale or discarded by someone else. Not only in one room but throughout the entire house including the back yard. There were 3 different tables and broken chairs as well as a pile of discarded beach stuff just laying beside the house. Along with 3 old rugs around the house. It looked unkept. The back porch holds water when it rains and we woke one morning to water standing inside the house. We were unable to skim the pool out with the skimmer because it had multiple large holes in it. To say that we were disappointed with the house is an understatement. I could not and would not recommend this house to anyone else. The Island itself and the beach were both beautiful, the one positive about the house is the close distance to the beach . We love the island and will be back just not to this home .

Seas the Day

This is a darling little home in a great location just steps away from beach access. Walking distance to Harry’s and Ginny/Jane E’s. A few pointers: dogs are not allowed on the beach. The backyard is shells and can hurt the puppy’s paws if they are sensitive. Also no salt/pepper, coffee filters, etc. We would stay here again though! Fantastic pool!!!!!

Amazing Stay in Anna Maria
