Where do I begin? I’ve been renting VRBO’s for 15 years. I rent at least 20 a year. So it’s safe to say I am very well versed with the good and the bad. This Vrbo is one of the most immaculate, thoughtful, well designed rentals I have encountered. I admit I always find something to knit pick. Nope not here. There are mountain AND ocean views. So rare! Plenty of linens, new sponge, soaps, washing machine/dryer, freshly washed bath mats( weird I know but it matters).Frank and his wife were the most gracious hosts. He gave us plenty of recommendations as to where to go and what to see. I write this sitting in my 2nd rental of our trip wishing we were back at Franks. Lol. Leo their dog is a doll. My kids loved playing with him. We will be back in the future during summer months.

Gorgeous Getaway

This is an absolutely beautiful property! I live in a small town in AK and typically stay in hotels when I have to come to Anchorage… never again! The suite was clean, well equipped with everything you need and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The ocean is in one direction and the peaks of the Chugach State park are in the other. It really doesn’t get any better than this! I have paid so much for horrendous hotel rooms near the airport or downtown, I will never make that mistake again! This is my new go to rental in Anchorage!

Cozy, beautiful and clean

This property is exactly like the pictures. It is cozy. They have everything you could possibly need if you forgot something. They thought of everything. Frank and Annette were amazing and contacted me to welcome me before our stay and met us when we pulled in to welcome us!! I recommend giving this place a try and enjoy the quiet, beautiful scenic view.

Great stay!

We travel a lot and have used VRBO properties all over the world. This was probably the cleanest property we've stayed in. Hosts were very nice and accommodating. We loved the beds...very comfortable! We have a wonderful stay!

Great Stay Awesome Views

This was an amazing stay in a great neighborhood and amazing views. I live in Dillingham and come to Anchorage often for medical, shopping, and work. This worked perfect for me. Everything you need is there. People were great. It was very comfortable and very safe. I would stay again. Thanks again.

Amazing Anchorage Vacation

I was just staying for a snowy weekend and my car happened to get stuck. The property owner helped me to get my car out and had his driveway plowed the same day. He was extremely friendly and I was able to have a comfortable stay.

A great place to start vacation.

Our family of four began our recent Alaska vacation here and were not disappointed. The room was spacious enough for all four of us and the location has a great view. The distance from downtown was not a concern, as Anchorage is very car-friendly. We would return here again.

A lovely, quiet space!

This studio apartment was very nicely decorated and very clean. The host was attentive and helpful, the view was wonderful, and the amenities were more than sufficient, given its all one room. We loved sitting by the window to enjoy the view while working and dining. Definitely would recommend.

Frank and Annette are wonderful hosts, they were full of helpful tips and ideas for things to do in the area. They even made us dinner on our last night in town! The property was clean and had amazing views! It was completely stocked with everything you would need to stay there! We really loved staying here and will definitely stay again!!!

Tremendous Ocean View

We loved every moment of our stay at Top House. Frank and Annette’s property was sparkling clean and well appointed. The beds in particular can only be described luxurious...as comfy, or more comfy, than our own. The view from our room was nothing short of magical...to the left, clouds danced in a valley between high peaks, and to the right, the Cook Inlet stretches as far as you can see. Although the view was the show stopper here, the studio apartment proved new and modern and comfortable in every way. Hosts were on the ball and wanted to make sure our family was happy in every way. Thank you Winkler’s! We will be back.

Awesome views

This property was beautifully decorated and staged but also functional. We could not have asked for a better place to stay that was close to Flattop mountain for hiking and easy to get to restaurants and other activities. Plenty of extra bedding if needed along with tons of kitchen appliances that included a hotplate and blender. Easy access in the non snowy months but I can imagine 4 wheel drive is needed in the winter. THE VIEW ocean and snowy mountains In the same frame from the room! Great communication and just all over a excellent stay. We will look to stay again. Thank you so much.
