Located just 6 km from medieval town of Magliano in Toscana, Podere Sant'Adele is a farmhouse nestled in a 30 acres olive grove in the heart of the Maremma countryside. The property is perfectly located- being close to idyllic beaches and villages steeped in history. It is a peaceful place where the silence and refined atmosphere of old country side can still be experienced. Olive trees and wildlife are part of this calm scenery with a stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea.

Podere Sant’Adele is the renovation of three old country houses made of stucco and natural stone and decorated with local craftmanship and contemporary fixtures for comfort and functionality. Our concern was to preserve the old structure of the houses and restored them using local architectural culture and traditional constructive knowledge. The 3 houses are all in close proximity to one another. Two of the houses have independent kitchens, making it a perfect space to share with family and friends whilst having personal privacy if desired. They are decorated with an eye to detail and tastefully furnished in such a way as to maintain an atmosphere of family intimacy. All the rooms offer delightful views of the surrounding countryside and the interiors include all amenities.

The Square house
The square house has two spacious bedrooms with plenty of room for study, sleep and storage, two en-suite bathrooms and an open kitchen that flows through the living room where there is a convertable sofa bed. It also has its own private patio where to enjoy meals while overlooking the view. The square house is most suitable for a family of 4-6 people.

The Main house
The main house has a more luxurious feel to it. It is carefully designed for 2 people but it is the biggest one in the property – making it ideal for hosting lunches and dinners. The floor plan encompasses a spacious master bedroom with an en-suite bathtub that commands a view of the valley, and a large open space that includes the kitchen, living room and dining room areas. The interior has a lovely fireplace built in Tuscan style where to relax and unwind during rainy days while the exterior has two patios with a chill out area and dining tables.

The Porcilaia house
The porcilaia house was carefully re-built into a charming private residence with a master bedroom, studio and lovely bathroom. It is designed to function alongside the master house, sharing the kitchen and the patios. This cottage-like house is ideal for 2 people. All the houses in the property have an LCD television and wi-fi.

Pool and Gardens
The houses sit on a beautiful landscape, with majestic mature olive trees and a productive vegetable garden that guest are welcome to harvest from. The property offers exclusive access to the swimming pool and spa area. There is a lot of space for sunbathing, stretching or reading a good book in complete peace and quiet. This area also includes a pool house with a sauna and bathroom. The surrounding gardens have been planted solely with local flora that are draught tolerant to preserve the surrounding ecosystem.
