"Lovely hotel, very nice room with everything you need. Great little balcony overlooking the square with a side view across to the marina. Fab location, 2 minutes walk to Las Ramblas, 5 minutes to the Marina. Head in any direction from the Hotel and there are beautiful squares, bars restaurants. Even the Metro is only a 5minute walk. The renovations are continuing and hopefuy we will return next year when the roof terrace and swimming pool will be finished. Staff were all lovely cheerful and...

"Überraschend positiv – klare Empfehlung! Ehrlich gesagt waren wir zunächst etwas skeptisch, da die Gegend rund um das Hotel oft als „nicht ganz ungefährlich“ beschrieben werden wird. Umso überraschter waren wir, dass wir uns zu keiner Zeit unwohl gefühlt haben. Im Gegenteil: Die Lage ist top – man ist in wenigen Minuten mitten im Zentrum und kann fast alles bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Das Hotel selbst ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand - alles wirkt wie neu, modern, sehr sauber und gepflegt....

"I would definitely stay here again. The room was perfectly fine for 1 person, although the luggage and stuff of 2 people would be a problem - perhaps a bigger 'desk' would help? However, the room was extremely clean upon arrival and kept clean every day, and the AC was excellent (even during a few very hot days) - and not only excellent, but **quiet**. "Hotel Ciutadella is perfectly located, minutes from the beach, the zoo, the Gothic quarters and La Rambla. It’s on a busy avenue but the windows are soundproof so no noise issues. The lobby is stylish and modern, the staircase is wide and nice, it allows you to see more of the building architecture."
