"The hotel is ideally located. Walking distance from historical centre, very convenient to reach by car. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Breakfast is really good and convenient . Restaurant on side is good too, especially when arriving at 10:30 PM. Staff super helpful. Only drawback is the parking, which has super narrow ramps, making it very scary to move the car. We ended up leaving the car in the parking and only walk to avoid scratching it."

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this luxury hotel directly across the Granada Cathedral, in the heart of the city. We were concerned about the noise from the busy street, but not a sound was perceptible from our room (#222). Our window faced the interior and we were okay with that, as we were in the room, primarily to sleep and to nap. The mattress, and linen sheets were of high quality, allowing restful sleep. The staff were attentive and helpful, even calling our hotel...

"The hotel’s excellent location near the Alhambra and its historical charm are definite highlights. However, the rooms need updating, and the bedding requires improvement to meet modern comfort standards. I would recommend this hotel primarily for its location and historic atmosphere, but not for those seeking modern, comfortable accommodations."

"The front desk staff, Pilar, is a delight! She was extremely helpful and full of good ideas. The property is in a great location; lots of shopping and restaurants nearby."

"una muy buena experiencia hospedarse en cabina!! limpio y cómodo. si vuelvo a Granada, vuelvo a Castelo!"

"We loved the convenience of being able to drive right to the door of the hotel and use the valet parking. The junior suite was very spacious and modern. Short walk to good restaurants. Easy walk (down the hill) to main attractions (but we took cabs on the way back)."

"Pros: the hotel’s location is central, close to everything and extremely easy to get around. Cons:. I prepaid for a king room and was given a twin. I should not have accepted it so that’s my bad. The room itself was cramped and tiny. There was no closet, just an open rod with a few hangers. The bathroom was no better: there was no handle inside the shower, nowhere to set down toiletries, and the toilet paper was hard to reach for a shorter person. The hotel also provided no basic amenities,...

"Great location and nice hotel"

"Hotel Puerta de las Granadas delivers exactly what it advertises, especially on location. You’re steps from the walkway up to the Alhambra and a short stroll downhill into the city. Sightseeing in one direction, tapas in the other—an excellent arrangement. The rooms are wonderfully designed, and the water pressure is excellent. After walking Granada’s hills, a proper shower feels like a tourist attraction in its own right. The reception staff were informative and efficient, though not...

"Wonderful wonderful stay right in the centre of Granada so easy to reach all the sites, restaurants, shops, bars. We hired a car & drove from airport as hotel had parking but we probably should have either caught train or bus or had a taxi as we didn’t need our car for our three day stay. All the staff at the hotel were super helpful & so very welcoming. Leave plenty of time for breakfast it gets very busy at 8am & you must not be in a rush to get your tea/coffee etc. I struggled to get a...

"Het hotel is erg gedateerd, er worden momenteel wel enkele kamers gerenoveerd. we hadden een lekkage in de badkamer, kregen direct een upgrate naar een andere kamer. Gingen toch nog 30 jaar terug in de tijd. Personeel heeft het enorm druk . Het hotel is een doolhof met veel liften en trappetjes. Het ontbijt is matig, Ligging ten opzichte van het centrum is heel handig"

"Wonderful hotel in the heart of the town. 5 stars to everything!"
