A special place for special moments!

The house is in a town called Formello which is lovely and close to Rome (more or less half an hour by car). We really enjoyed our stay in Pamela & Susanna's house, they were super helpful and responsive. The house and the surroundings are amazing, with a lovely view. We had our wedding celebration here, the house has everything needed for a party. We highly recommend!

superbe !

Un petit coin de paradis près de Rome ! La maison est très spacieuse et agréable à vivre. Sans climatisation, le rez de chaussée reste frais et les ventilateurs dans les chambres à l'étage permettent de ne pas trop souffrir de la chaleur. L'accueil de Pamela est formidable, 2 salades de pates, petits gateaux et fruits nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Nous avons utilisé les services d'Anna pour un soir, qui a fait les courses pour nous et préparé un bon repas Romain. Nous espérons revenir un jour !

Wounderful villa in a nice quiet location.

We were a party of fourteen, five children, not to mention one toddler and one newborn, who stayed 10 days at Pamelas villa in July 2018 and we had a thoroughly lovely time. Despite our large number the house was spacious enough that it never quite felt overcrowded. If one wished for a moment's solitude it was not difficult to find a quiet space to lounge. The garden and pool area, was beautiful and much to the liking of both children and adults while the interior of the house was brimming with personality. Paintings, books and decorations makes the house feel alive and provides for interesting conversations. (We did relocate some of the knickknacks to make more room, but overall their presence only added to our enjoyment) At our arrival it was a very pleasant surprise to find a long table decked with numerous snacks, drinks, fingerfoods and a large bowl of delicious pasta salad waiting. It was swiftly devoured. Thanks a lot Pamela and Susanna. It was also quite nice to find that each of us was provided with a personal towel and robe and that Roberto came to switch out bedding and towels after a week's time. If you, like us, are large family looking for a serene place to stay as you explore Rome and Lazio region I would very much recommend this villa.

Thank you!

We were 13 people renting this beautiful house for a week in June 2017. When we arrived, we were met with a welcome meal served outside by the pool, and a tour around the house. It is a big house with lots of rooms, but is was easy enough to find our way around. The center of Formello with shops and restaurants is within walking distance. Trips to Rome is easy enough from a nearby train station. So, thank you for a wonderful week in your beautiful house. We all enjoyed it a lot.

Bellissima !!!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette propriété magnifique et très bien entretenue. Très spacieuse, on y trouve tout le nécessaire pour les petits comme pour les grands. Constantino nous a préparé à notre arrivée un succulent repas et était toujours pret à répondre à tous nos besoins avec gentillesse. Il a nettoyé la piscine tous les jours. Nos chiens se sont également bien amusés dans le jardin. Ils étaient en sécurité car la propriété est entièrement clôturée. La maison était idéalement située, avec une vue magnifique et nous avons pu visiter Rome et ses alentours facilement. Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux. Nous recommandons cette location.

old fashioned house nicely located with a swimming pool and nice views

The situation of the house is perfect to explore roma and its surroundings : Must visits are roma (40'), lago di bracciano (40') with clearwater beaches, nice villages and restaurants, Tivoli (1h). The city center of formello (5') is nice with all the things you need to get your supplies (supermarket, fruits and vegetables, groceries...) and you will find 2-3 nice restaurants with reviews on trip advisor. When the weather is fine, you will mainly enjoy the swimming pool area with a dining table located nearby which will be perfect to enjoy breakfast, lunches, dinner, snacks and more ! You could also use an old fashioned but working BBQ and a wood oven to make your own pizzas mamamia ! Drawbacks of this house could be its Indoor equipment: No dishwasher which is a shame, mostly when you are a group of 10+ people... The lay out of the house looks very old which is normal for a family house but could be surprising for our generations. Lastly, the babyfoot is close to being out of order and would need to be replaced by a more robust and an adult model. On the property live a house keeper with his family : They are very nice but could be invasive; they came each and every day of our stay and asked us to vacate the swimming pool 12h before our departure ! On the pro side, I would point out the fact that they prepared our meal when we arrived late from the airport and that they brought us fresh tomatoes from the garden. Summary: Old fashioned house nicely located in the roman region. Improvements should be made by owners for the next renting period and the most urgent one is the dishwasher !
