"The resort was just like I’d seen in the pictures. However, the location is far from any entertainment. You have to get a taxi & it’s at least $12 (US $) one-way to get to a small town. "The Ventus Ha part of this El Cid complex is the newest and most chilled. There are 4 pools, 2 main pools and 2 rooftop infinity pools. The rooms are large and clean and housekeeping keep them that way. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I had the Platinum package, which comes with butlers to help you with reservations or whatever you want really. My butlers were Saul and You can eat in all of the restaurants across the El Cid complex, but my favourite was Aakat, the staff and food at this...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aeria Hotel from the early check-in, elevator, clean, beautiful, spacious, air conditioned room with WiFi and terrace to the amazing views and wonderful staff like Samuel at reception. We also appreciated having The Portside restaurant by the rooftop pool and enjoyed a delicious meal there. The bartender and server were very friendly enhancing our experience. Thank you so much!"

In off season 1 hour wait for table at the Asian restaurant, no ramps for baby stroller, stolen $200 from the safe box, the food is below the cheapest buffet $8.99 lunch time all you can eat, waiters in bad mood (slow season, no customers, no tips), construction everywhere, the hotel is old and dirty, activities during day time are poor, night time shows are the poorest I have even seen, managers asking how is everything, but if you tell them you have an issue, they just walk away...

"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "
