"We cannot say enough positive things about the gardenia garden house. It was a wonderful location to explore the beaches and hiking spots around Chania, and experience the lovely culture of the people of Sternes. It is within 10 minutes of the airport but feels a world away. Comfortable furnishings surrounded by lemon and olive trees,herbs to cook with in its well equipped kitchen all made it a comfortable home for us. Hoping to return to this lovely spot!"

"Zacharias is such a lovely host: we messaged en route and he met us in the village (on bike) to guide us up to the house. There was Zacharias' own red wine, honey AND olive oil on the table for us to use during our stay and we wish we could have taken more home with us! D'ailleurs, merci pour la bouteille d'eau fraîche en arrivant et les fruits frais!! La maison est agréable avec tout le confort nécessaire. Nb: juste un p'tit bémol pour la douche où les variations de température ne sont pas très agréables voir la douche froide. Si ça vous arrive, parlez en vite à konstantina...
