"La casa esta integrada en una finca muy tranquila con mucha vegetacion. La piscina esta muy bien y se comparte con poco vecinos. Ian el propietario es muy atento y agradable. La ubicacion es muy buena para conocer el oeste de la Isla. A solo 12 m del centro de Chania y con las principales visitas a 60 o 90 minutos. (Balos, Elafonisi, Retinmo, Falasarna. Sfakia....) "I was contacted shortly after my booking and had everything regarding getting the keys etc explained over the phone. The lady who introduced me to the apartment was pleasent to talk with and the apartment itself was fantastic. Great view from the balcony and nice original decor. You'll have to see for yourselves. "We cannot say enough positive things about the gardenia garden house. It was a wonderful location to explore the beaches and hiking spots around Chania, and experience the lovely culture of the people of Sternes. It is within 10 minutes of the airport but feels a world away. Comfortable furnishings surrounded by lemon and olive trees,herbs to cook with in its well equipped kitchen all made it a comfortable home for us. Hoping to return to this lovely spot!"

"Our place was very spacious for 4 people ( 2 couples), kitchen well equipped, lots of towels provided, great space for sleeping however beds were uncomfortable. Location was very good once we figured out where we were and where the main road was ( restaurants, groceries and bus to harbour). All in all, a very stood stay."

"It really was like being in a Greek home. The few things we needed were attended to quickly. We ran out of coffee which is graciously provided, and voila they went and got us more! "The location was fantastic. It was very close to restaurants and supermarkets. It was also an easy walk to the old port and all the sea sites. There were 4 weekly food markets that could also be reached walking. The only issues we had were a language barrier for operation of the stove/range and the washing machine /dryer. "We stayed at Elias Nea Chora ground floor for ten days over the Labor Day weekend. The apartment was spacious, clean, with the beautiful view outside our sliding doors of endless water, and the music of the waves in our ears, so soothing to sleep to that. The beds were comfortable, and the entire decor was new.
