"Did not like the small size of room even though I booked a double bed. Absolutely no room either side of the bed when really room is just big enough for a single bed. Having a double bed means of course that hotels can charge more! On top of that bed springs dug into me all night so a very unpleasant sleep. No excuse not to not replace the mattresses and suggests penny pinching and trying to save money. Won’t stay again for reasons mentioned above."

"We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The room had a strong gutter smell throughout our stay. The shower temperature control was faulty and kept getting stuck meaning we either had boiling hot water or freezing cold water. When we asked for help staff told us to use a towel to turn the knob but it was extremely difficult and we ended up having cold showers. "I really liked this hotel. It's what I would call a hidden gem, because I had no idea it was there. The building is clean, housekeeping is spot on, the staff are attentive, and able to offer advice on almost everything. The bar had a lovely atmosphere and the lounge had the largest TV on planet Earth. Breakfast was the best I'd had in any hotel. It's a 2 minute walk from the tube station, and close to all amenities.
