"For the first welcome in walk we were greeted by a filthy carpet and funky smell. The carpet was stained throughout the house.The kitchen is old, plastic covers, peeling off cabinets and steel wool holding the washing machine in place. A few tea/coffee cups and glasses but other than that, it’s slim pickings. One tea towel for a week stay? One paper towel, and a few rolls of toilet paper. We had to go out and buy all. "Great location, very central. Host provided early check-in which made our first day much easier. Comfortable bed and lots of space. The only reason I didn’t rate our stay higher was that the kitchen supplies were extremely minimal. There were four of us (two couples) and only three coffee mugs. No Tupperware or any kind of storage container to put food in. A few more kitchen amenities would have been nice given the length of our stay. Also small garbage bins in the bathrooms would be helpful. "

"We stayed Sat thru Sat. The location is great and we were able to check in early. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores within a few minute walk. Natural History museum is about a 10min walk. Directly across from Knightsbridge Picadilly Line. They were responsive to any needs or questions. Down fall there is only a washer, no dryer as listed. There is no central AC, but they have portable units. Bad news is you have keep the windows open for the exhaust tubes which means you hear all the street...

"Basically within 10 minutes OR LESS of everything. But, you have to be fit. Those 70 stairs are a hike. We workout daily and I felt it!! You must be capable of that. It’s tight and no balcony but it’s not noisy at all. It’s opposite the Gielgud theatre. Right by Chinatown. Overall I would say this is exactly as advertised and it’s perfect if you want the London”scene”. Piccadilly Circus tube is a 2 min walk!! "
