"We were amazed at the sounds and sights while staying here! So many birds, monkeys and even an otter came to visit the pond! It was fun playing in the pool and the rain! Not too far from La Fortuna and small convenience shops at the end of the road. The kitchen isn’t really suitable for cooking for a family and isn’t very well equipped so probably best to eat out or make snacks only. The AC worked well and we enjoyed our stay here! Would recommend 😊👍"

"Our stay in the house was great. The house is tucked back from the road and behind a gate. The property is gorgeous. Lorenzo, the owner, made sure we did not miss the two sloths in the trees! He also set out fruit so we had a bunch of cool birds visit every day. The bird calls are amazing to wake up to. The house itself is clean and spacious. We enjoyed the creek views, the outside spaces, and the pool. There's a great restaurant at the top of the street that is really easy for a quick meal....

"We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended."

"What an incredible stay we had at this beautiful home! The safety and convenience of being close to town and yet to be surrounded by nature was the perfect combo. "The property is beautiful, definitely surpassed our expectations! There were two couples in our party so we only used the two bedrooms with King beds, but there was plenty of room for another adult couple or a few young children. While the property does advertise space for 10 guests, personally, I think 6 adults would be ideal as seating inside and outside for more than 4-6 could be tight. The pool is so nice and peaceful. "The Ranch Villa Arenal is a gorgeous house and property. We felt at home and fell in love with Yadi the house keeper/cook and Joaquin the grounds keeper. Yadi cooked a delicious breakfast every day and Joaquin entertained us with tours of the working ranch. The Fortuna area offers many activities for all age groups.
