It is close enough to Ottawa to be able to experience all the area has to offer yet far enough out to find peaceful relaxation if you prefer. The houseboat is such a unique experience. "This was an awesome place to stay for the weekend. It’s got everything you need for a nice little getaway and it’s close to some awesome scenic beaches. It was cool to stay in a boat rather than a hotel for a change. It was very cozy inside and out especially with the propane fire pit on the deck to relax after a long day of adventures. "Had a wonderful time. Had a crab feast first night with the hosts. Day 2 went to the tofino hot springs and did 2 hours of fishing chartered with hosts for an outstanding day. Day 3 we did a day trip to the surrounding areas. Joel and Pearl were great hosts easy to get in touch with and very accommodating to our schedule."
