"This was our first time staying in a place that provided most of what we needed. You can tell that Emily thought about everything that a family would need when being on vacation. "Enjoy Don's cottage - the screened in patio was lovely to enjoy coffee and do some light office work. Kitchen had enough of everything to heat or prepare simple meals. Hot water was plentiful and pressure good in the shower. Bed was comfortable. The area is very quiet at night but during the day there is a small business next door that you do hear light people chatter/deliveries. I would say this location is like a modern cabin - just enough of everything but still feels rustic."

"The Firefly Cottage is a charming cottage ideally located in the community of St Cape Claire. Restaurants are close by and we highly recommend the Breakneck Grill. The cottage is well equipped and appointed. The backyard has has a hot tub and beautiful wild flower garden. Within walking distance is a park and beach area. "The pictures are quite accurate and the place is even more beautiful in person! Absolutely loved staying here. Nice quite area. I stayed with my husband and 3 kids ages 7, 2, and 11mo. The kids had no issue adjusting. There were quite a few stairs to get up to the deck and inside but my toddler took it like a champ. The walk to the beach was about a 5minute walk for us, but again it was at toddler speed 😅. We preferred the ocean view beach as it was not as rocky and was just a short drive away....

"This was our second time staying here, with our first being during the summer. The cottage is very clean and overall quite pleasant with a location perfect for bicycling into town and to the beach. However, this cottage really needs heat if it is to be rented during the cooler months. The owner did provide a portable heater at our request, which did warm the place, but was very noisy. Would stay again but only in the warmer weather. "

"Snug Harbor is simply amazing, and is truly a home away from home. The location is on the water with amazing views of the lighthouse and the poines. There are tiki huts, lawn chairs, etc. for you to enjoy. Basia and Captain John can take you on kayak and boat tours. I highly recommend taking a guided tour as you learn so much history. "The cottage is exactly as described. There is convertible bed in the living room area on the entry level that fits two comfortably. I found it to be plenty comfortable. Once I set up the bed, I left it that way, rather than folding it up during the day. The bathroom is also on the entry level. The kitchen/eating area is accessed by going down a really cool staircase that also leads to the back yard walkout.
