"Very reasonably priced and comfortable night's sleep before early departure from Birmingham Airport although the food is typicall bar food if maybe a little on the expensive side. Rooms very clean if somewhat dated."

The room I stayed in was a new room (Room 20). Others in my family stayed in room 18 & 19. All were excellent. They were all a large size and very well appointed with quality touches. "Stunning building but the maintenance of it lets it down. The hostess at breakfast was very friendly and helpful, but the service itself was chaotic. They should be serving barista made drinks with breakfast rather than having queues at an instant machine. Some people were ordering from menus, others weren’t. The staff seemed very stressed. The room was basic but ok value for money. The spa treatment was the highlight"

"The overall presentation was acceptable, the interior of the room and hotel was good, however the air con did not work, so the hotel filled the room with fans and non effective mobile aircon. The windows were filthy and as we had access to an external courtyard, the cobwebs were off putting. Overall the hotel presented as s 3 star property and was a dissapointment for the chain as we have frequented many other locations if indigo."

"Breakfast was good and faced no issues with parking. The room was clean and comfortable. Some maintainance is required as there was some damp related damage on the walls however it is a old building so that's not to be unexpected with the age of the building. Overall a great place to stay and I recommend it."
