"Very basic. Bathrooms ok but the rest of the place needs a re-vamp but I suppose it’s why it’s so cheap.
Fine to put your head down for the night but nothing more than that. Bed was semi comfortable but you can feel every spring in the mattress.
Also as a women on my own I don’t think I’d stay again. There were people hanging out their bedroom windows smoking and the smell of weed in the morning was wafting through my room."
"It does the job and ticks a box. If you want a bed overnight for a reasonable price in a convenient location right opposite the bus station and near the university this is suitable. Took a while for check-in to complete was my experience, but I do appreciate I checked in later than usual so the night team may not be as familiar with this process. Room decor is generally outdated but bed was fine. General cleanliness was ok, crisp white bed sheets, however there was a pubic hair on the toilet lid...
"In the first room TV and various lights weren’t working, they gave me a second room and heating didn’t work initially.
Mattress was very poor and uneven to sleep on, you could feel every spring.
Biscuits on floor down back of work desk, a faulty leaking shower head, the list goes on.
It became apparent wondering around the hotel that it was an old Hilton that’s been taken over at some point and can only presume it hasn’t been updated since it was built in the 90’s I’m presuming.
