Great one-night stay at the Queens Head Hotel. Excellent location and convenient parking behind the accommodation (£15 overnight). Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious—old but quaint

Great location. Helpful friendly staff. Loaned us a fan as it was soooo hot! Linen and beds clean. Bathroom especially shower and carpets needed a deep clean/good hoover

Excellent facilities in this room with a well maintained bathroom and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is very good and the staff are very friendly there. I was very surprised how quiet the room was on the ground floor next to the pub but did hear noise from the road unfortunately. You can’t hang much of your clothing in the room as we were only supplied with 2 hangers and the ceilings are low so be aware of this if you’re 6 feet tall! Apart from that I would recommend this place to anyone who just needs a basic room with a bed and bathroom.

Central position to explore Stratford. Comfortable bed, adequate room. Stayed during the heatwave so was way too hot, not the properties fault! Parking in NCP car park is right next door but adds £30 for my two nights to the cost. Would have maybe looked elsewhere if knew before hand. Went to Weatherspoons down the road for breakfast so cannot comment on that.

Had a lovely stay in this very old characterful building. Yes it was noisy until closing time, but its a pub, stay up and have a drink. Welcome was friendly and no fuss. Would have loved a couple of herbal tea bags in the tea bag area but thats the only constructive feedback.

The girl behind the bar/receptionist was lovely and even gave us her own personal fan, but the room was at best 1 star, the toilet had human waste and toilet paper in it upon arrival, And what looked like human waste in the wall and floor, Photos attached, The shower was dirty, and the rooms window opened up onto a disco bar that was open to 2.30am, this review is based on the room only, The room was in an awful state and not worth the money all, I can’t give 0 stars so I had to settle with putting a 1

A great central location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room very clean and spacious but would benefit from some improvements such as replacing the cracked hand bowl in the bathroom. Maybe not the best choice if you need a quiet venue, as there is inevitably quite a lot of noise from the pub downstairs which on our visit, the night of a big football match, did continue well beyond the promised 11.00

Basic room behind a pub. Nothing fancy. Was great for the one night stay with a comfortable bed and a shower. Location was excellent - just a walk away from key attractions. One nit, the WiFi doesn't reach rooms.

The hotel could not be better located. In the heart of Stratford, minutes walking from absolutely everything. And what a great room! Luminous, spacious, comfortable bed, very clean cotton linen. There's no front desk, the entrance is through the pub, but who cares? It only adds charm to this nice inn. Highly recommended,

Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing and fell short of expectations. On arrival, the staff came across as somewhat unwelcoming. At check-in, I wasn’t shown to my room and was simply pointed in the general direction. When I subsequently discovered an issue with the room and raised it, I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing staff by bringing it to their attention. To their credit, the issue was eventually resolved, but the initial response left a poor impression. The room itself was tidy and clean, which was positive. However, there were a few other issues that detracted from the stay. Noise from the bar was audible in the room until closing time, although this wasn’t a major concern. More disappointing was a noticeable smell of what appeared to be blocked drains coming from the shower. It wasn’t overpowering, but it was certainly present. Having already felt uncomfortable raising an issue with staff, I didn’t feel particularly inclined to bring this up as well. Be aware that the room didn’t have a hairdryer or toiletries, so make sure you bring all the essentials with you. There are also no shops or other amenities in the village, so it’s worth making sure you have everything you need before arriving. No breakfast in the morning. Overall, whilst the room was clean and the initial problem was resolved, the combination of the welcome, the approach to customer service and the general condition of the facilities made for a disappointing experienc
