"Although the motel dates probably from the mid 1980’s, it is clean, and comfortable, with a kitchen comprising of an electric stove top, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. All were in excellent condition, and the property is well maintained. Whilst we did not use the pool, it looked clean and inviting. There are only 12 units, in a quiet street only 5 mins walk from a New World and Woolworths, with some excellent cafes close by, and a short walk to the Harbourside area and town. Highly...

"This bach was the perfect base for our weekend in Whangarei Heads. Lovely views of McLeod's Bay and with the house backing onto the bush, we enjoyed seeing the native birds. We even thought we heard kiwi at night. The bach was just the right size for our family of two adults and two kids, very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. The kids loved playing badminton on the front lawn. The owners were very responsive to all our questions, and gave detailed instructions on finding the bach...
