"Beautiful inside and out. Gorgeous view. Beach within walking distance but highly recommend a taxi back… the uphill walk is challenging! Many restaurants to choose from. "The location of this property is set up on the side of a mountain with the most spectacular view of the sea, Capri, Mt. Vesuvius, etc. The grounds were so lovely- it was a true island escape. The location to town was fantastic- the walk was a bit steep, but literally everything you need was right there. The host was gracious and helpful."

"Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...
