This unique apartment, very bright and sunny, is located in the picturesque neighborhood of Gracia.

Five minutes walking away from the Verdaguer metro station, very well connected to the rest of the city.

The location is very good. Within a 5 minutes walk you can reach Passeig de Gràcia. In addition, its privileged location allows to reach, by foot or by short metro ride, the main tourist areas, since it is located within walking distance of Las Ramblas, the Cathedral and the Gothic Quarter, Sagrada Familia, the most emblematic buildings Gaudí or the most representative shops in Barcelona.

The apartment consists of 1 double bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room and a wonderful terrace where you can enjoy breakfast while sunbathing.

The master bedroom has a double bed and a small desk.

There is also a loft where there are 2 single beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the amenities: Toaster, oven, hob, fridge freezer, kettle, coffee maker.

In the lounge there is a comfortable sofa and a table for up to 4 persons.

TV.

The living room sofa can be converted into a double bed.

From the living room there is Access to the terrace, equipped with table, chairs and a barbecue.

The apartment, because its space, is recommended for maximum 4 people and perfect for little families or couples.

Note that young friend groups are not allowed in this apartment.

The building does not have elevator, but there are no more than 17 steps to reach the apartment.

From the apartment you can take a nice walk around the neighborhood of Gracia. A good place to wander through its streets full of charm. The district of Gracia is plenty of restaurants and bars of all kind to choose from.

Barcelona's Gracia neighborhood is located at the north of the Eixample.

Gràcia is immediately recognizable for its narrow streets, a stark contrast to the wide and modern boulevards of L'Eixample. It is known as a hip area with an active and politically-conscious community.

Here you'll find a big number of lively plazas, bars and restaurants, but it has a slightly more mature crowd than other cultural hubs like El Born or El Raval.

Fantastic location, 10 min walk to the nearest metro. 15 min walk to Sagrada Família. 25 min walk to La Rambla. The apartment has all required amenities, having the washing machine is fantastic. We also loved having the balcony to sit out on in the mornings. Not an amazing view, just other buildings and some trees but private enough to enjoy a coffee and some sunshine in your pyjamas. Mezzanine balcony bedroom perfect for older kids, mine are teenagers. We all enjoyed our stay here.

Poor communication is an understatement

I’m giving this a poor rating due to lack communication from the management. I did not receive check-in information when promised. My messages to them went unanswered. I was beginning to think this was a scam and contacted VRBO who sent management an email. That also went unanswered. VRBO had given me another phone number for management. I sent a WhatsApp message to that number and finally received a reply. It was a lot of stress and frustration that could have been easily avoided. After that, the stay was fine. The apartment has a lot of character and was comfortable and clean. It’s in a quiet location but still close to grocery stores, restaurants, and transportation.

Fabulous space in charming neighborhood

The host was very communicative and helpful throughout. Although not a large space, the apartment is thoughtfully laid out and was perfect for our family of 4. The terrace is large and has lovely views.

Great location

Although we didn’t anticipate steep narrow stairs, we managed to get suitcases upstairs. I wish that had been noted in the listing. We both have some difficulty with stairs so this was a bit of a challenge. Communication with the host was slow and although there were answers, they were slow. The location was PERFECT! Overall, if you can handle stairs, this is a great rental!

Great Location, Apartment Needs TLC

Gracia area is a perfect location. Safe, lively, shops and restaurants close and plentiful, walkable to many attractions from Parc Guell to Sagrada Familia, Gothic Quarter and beaches. Sadly, the apartment seems to have fallen into a bit of neglect. The floors were filthy and vacuum cleaner not functional. We had to sweep with a broom, go buy cleaning solution and wipe the floors ourselves before it was livable. We also had to wipe down doors, door handles, cupboard fronts and other surfaces which were sticky and dirty. Besides the broken vacuum cleaner, other old items cluttered up the place like two non-functioning kettles and an OPEN bag of rodent poison in a lower kitchen drawer. There were no duvet covers for the not-fresh duvets... very unsanitary. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and a jagged chunk missing from the door. A decorative throw on the couch was filled with crumbs and plentiful amounts of a white particles. The balcony provided a tranquil outdoor space. The washing machine was a huge convenience though beware future tenants, the advertised "dryer" is a clothesline outside. The patio door provided good light. Air conditioning worked well. This apartment has great potential. If I were the owner, I would invest in an extremely thorough cleaning, fix everything that's broken, and replace what's missing to easily create a 5-star accommodation.

Lovely stay

We had a great stay in this apartment. It was in a part of Barcelona away from the beach that we hadn't explored - nice and quiet in the evenings and lots of great places to eat etc during the day. The apartment was great - more space than we needed, so we didn't use the loft area and can't comment on that. We did have an issue with the clothes washer that didn't work, but the owner was very responsive and nice about it. The view from the deck isn't amazing, but it was great to be able to sit out there and was nice and quiet in the evenings. The bed was comfy, the place was clean... pretty much everything we needed. We didn't use the kitchen appliances much (just the fridge) so can't speak much to that. I think this is typical of many places in Europe, but some people might want to be aware that the apartment is up a flight of relatively steep stairs. Not an issue for us and only one flight but steeper than Americans are probably used to and there is no elevator. Overall we had a great time and would happily stay there again!

Great neighborhood, great place

My wife and I spent 4 nights and would gladly stay there again. Our host was friendly and communicative. Apartment itself was clean and well-appointed. We did not prepare any meals, but the kitchen seemed to have the basics. The weather was beautiful during our stay, so walking in the neighborhood and enjoying a glass of wine on the back balcony were a pleasure. As others have noted, the apartment is centrally located with many of the major points of interest being only a 20-30 minute walk. There are multiple restaurants and markets within a few minutes walk. We especially enjoyed dining at the restaurants on Placa de la Vila de Gracia (5 minute walk). One point to note is that the apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. This was not an issue for us, but could be for some. So, in summary, 5 stars!!

Hübsche Wohnung in toller Umgebung

Die Wohnung ist grundsätzlich schön und entspricht der Beschreibung. Hervorzuheben ist das tolle Viertel mit netten Bars und Geschäften in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Der Balkon ist toll, um am Abend noch ein Getränk zu nehmen. Es gibt ausreichend Gläser und Porzellan. Leider waren die Matratzen der beiden Betten über der Küche durchgelegen, die Spülmaschine verrostet (die Halter der Teller brachen teilweise ab) und das Objekt war nicht wirklich gut gereinigt (Haare in der Dusche, Schlieren überall und viel Staub, wurde nachgebessert, aber nicht zufriedenstellend). Das wirft leider einen Schatten über die ansonsten hübsche Wohnung, die man mit kleinen Optimierungen signifikant verbessern könnte. Hier bedarf es mehr Kontrolle bei der Reinigung und neuer Spülmaschinenkörbe. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur lief grundsätzlich gut, reibungslos uns sehr freundlich. Es wurde sofort reagiert und sie waren auch sehr kooperativ und lösungsorientiert. Klasse sind die Restaurantbeschreibungen des Eigentümers, insbesondere das La Pepita. Wir waren gleich 2 mal dort. Ich würde die Wohnung empfehlen, aber man sollte bei der Übergabe genau hinschauen.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was in a central location surrounded by great restaurants and the several metro stations. It was a little too cool to really use the porch but we otherwise would have really enjoyed it. The kids like the loft beds and the living room area was spacious. Highly recommend.

Charming, airy home

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It worked perfectly for my friend and me, and certainly would be great for two couples or a family of four. It felt spacious and cosy at the same time. Great location, easy arrival and departure. Would definitely stay there again.
