The food and beverage selection well exceeded our expectations; our room (complete with Frette linens and Byredo amenities) was perfectly clean with a lovely sea view; and the pool and grounds were beautifully maintained. At almost every corner we were approached by someone trying to sell us upgrades or “exclusive promotions,” many of which we had already heard earlier in the day. It quickly became overwhelming and made it hard to relax and actually enjoy the vacation. We were also pressured into attending a breakfast in order to receive a Prestige upgrade. "Hotel was okay. Staff was good. The first guy, the baggage guy, was rude. Food was good, though the first day's dinner was almost impossible to get. Many people were looking for food but the waiting time was terrible. Room service was off and buffet restaurant was closed. The beach was dirty, lots of weed. The tractor was loud almost all day cleaning the beach. We were welcomed by a guy setting us up for a membership scam. He wasted almost half of our day. This is one of the reasons I won't go...

"Beautiful resort. Very quiet and pristine. Very safe and secluded. Extremely clean and staff are excellent. Every room has an ocean view and a jacuzzi hot tub on the balcony. Rooms don't have microwaves or mini frig to store food. The spa is nice. Three good restaurants on site. Two infinity pools. Limited beach space. Not the resort for large sandy beach."

"Great staff. The room was great. Ask to get a beachfront room on the 3rd floor. The trees on the property cut down on the ocean view for the 1st and 2nd floors. The hot tubs were not on. There is an area for a bar, but it is not staffed or stocked. Know before you go that this is in a residential area and there are no restaurants or markets within walking distance. Each cab ride to town was $50US. If you are looking for a remote getaway, this is a great option."

"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

"We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride...

"Excellent resort, very clean - bleaching the pool deck daily, amazing food and no reservations required for à la carte which removes the stress of lining up to book dinner. Highly recommend for families! Sargassum was loaded on the beach and they try their best to remove it daily. "
