"Clean hotel with lovely staff, a nice (uncrowded) gym, and convenient subway access. Beds are comfortable, lighting is great, and outlets are well placed. Breakfast was good but can get busy.
The main drawback is the room layout. Storage is limited and poorly ventilated—there’s just one shelf and a small drawer in the closet, and opening the doors blocks the walkway. "I booked the Knot for my brother and my mom on their trip to Japan. Their trip was broken into three parts - I booked the Knot for their initial stay and at the end of their Japan tour.
On the initial stay - they had rave reviews. The food, stay, etc. exceeded their expectations. However, the bathroom in the room has a step and this was at times challenging for my mom who has mobility issues. Other than that, they loved their stay.

"Rooms do not have closets, iron, ironing board, English speaking TV, Coffee maker was "Drip" that a little bag hangs on the side of your cup, No exhaust fan in the washroom, inadequate lighting in washroom, our "Queen" bed did not allow for walking to far side of bed at the window, buffet breakfast was adequate and the price for the room was very high but the location to the airport was very good. We only stayed for 2 days and 1 night - would not recommend long stays"

"Small cramped rooms with step up bathroom. A real budget option that is not value for money. Good location but full of cheap tour groups with over an hours wait to check in. We cancelled our 5 night booking after one night and paid a penalty. Definitely not suitable for a family or persons with mobility issues which is not detailed anywhere on the site and is not considered a reason to cancel without penalty."

"Absolutely loved how clean and central this location was! It made getting around much easier as someone who has never been to Japan. The train station is across the street which is helpful, but there’s also a lot of stores and restaurants in the same area. Staff were also extremely kind and helpful to interact with. Thank you so much again! I’ll stay here again when I return back to Japan."
