The walls are also super thick so you don’t hear the baseball games that might happen across the street. I also loved the location. The street is quiet but metro close and so many places walkable. I’ll certainly stay here again, "

"The Hotel Groove Shinjuku was a great choice for our family. The full Tokyo experience (including the excitement of Shinjuku Station) of bright lights and large adverts. The area is busy but the hotel is totally wonderful, safe, secure and well staffed. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. The cleaning was effective and efficient with a wide range of helpful amenities. The room itself was big enough for 2 adults and a child with a lovely expansive view of the vicinity including the Skytree....

"If you want to feel like royalty, stay here. The hotel staff immediately greets you at check in and seats you to walk you through the check in process. The Bell attendant escorted us to the room and explained all the amenities. I wish I had more time to stay and take in the restaurants but I did try the room service which was beyond delicious and well priced. There’s also a nice garden attached to the hotel which was an added perk. Absolutely an amazing hotel. "

"Love the lounge area. Although it is small, it is cozy and does not get too crowded too. Free coffee, tea and snacks provided. The rooms comes with washer & dryer which was really convenient for travelling in Japan, since I had to travel light. The room was compact and had everything I needed. "

"The hotel was good enough for solo traveller. Walkable to train station, food shops, convenience store. The staff on arrival were very welcoming. It has kettle, small fridge and basic toiletries provided. Highly recommended hotel for shinjuku area. "

"The only negative thing I'd say about the property was the limited size of our room, other than that it is a well presented hotel with great staff. The area is a little sketchy (as to be expected from KABUKICHO) however it has got worse over the last 2 years since i was last here. The constant harassment from the Nigerians trying to get you into rip off bars or rip off strip clubs is getting worse, every corner i turned i was asked or grabbed by one of them, one of the nights i nearly lost my...
