"ヒュースロー空港到着と出発の際に宿泊。地下鉄てすぐ、ハウンズローセントラル駅からも徒歩割とすぐ、住宅街にあります。駅にもホテルにもエレベーターはありませんし、ホテルの方はスーツケースを運んでくれる気配もなく自力で。発着日のためバストイレ付を選択しました。連泊時にはシャワー別で少し節約しましたがその際に使うシャワーの方が広く快適でした。付近は治安は悪くはなさそうですが空港で買ってきたほうが安心です。駅とは違う方向へ行くとスーパーもあり、ばらまき土産も調達可能。ハウンズローあたりはイスラムの方が多いようでそういうレストランもありました。当方は女性一人旅なので行きませんでした。 ホテルは改装したようですが、コンセント位置やクローゼット等使い辛く、今時は枕元にコンセントが無いと携帯充電不自由ですね、しかも充電に時間がかかりました。 私はロンドン郊外の邸宅を回るため位置的に良いかと宿泊し、それ以外の日程では街中に宿替えしました。"

"This is our third stay at the Alexander Pope Hotel in Twickenham. We had a gorgeous huge top floor room with windows on three sides, chairs and sofa with a cozy nook for coffee. "Lovely hotel, next to Richmond park. Great staff. A minor maintenance issue with the room was immediately fixed despite the fact it was a bank holiday weekend. Friendly, efficient welcome, Tasty fresh breakfast buffet in lovely space, comfortable bed and good shower. Huge range of excellent pub, cafe and restaurant options nearby. Beautiful walks in Richmond park or along the river in both directions."

"Not bad for a night. Room wasn’t super clean. Staff were very nice, We stayed at their second location across the street. Doors were slamming all night by other guests. Also had a 2am false fire alarm, which was wasn’t ideal for our 4am wake up to get to the airport. "
