"This is our third stay at the Alexander Pope Hotel in Twickenham. We had a gorgeous huge top floor room with windows on three sides, chairs and sofa with a cozy nook for coffee. The staff was quite helpful with our needs, with more of a front desk presence than in the past. The king bed was not the most comfortable, with a pronounced dip in the middle. "We stayed at several hotels in England and this was one of our favorites. It didn’t have an elevator but the young man (I wish I knew his name) was SO helpful, carrying our bags upstairs for us, answering questions. We were able to keep our luggage there the day we checked out while we went downtown (and the young man carried them up to and from the third floor for us!). The food at the restaurant was good and the staff very friendly. It was close to the train station which was convenient."

"Good room. Never saw the owner. A handy person let me and gave me the keys. Had a nice room and separate bathroom (very old school B&B). The house is under renovation but it didn't impact my stay at all. I'd stay again. Very close to everything. Couldn't say about parking as I used the metro. Loads of restaurant/cafe choices close by"
