"The standard classic room did not allow enough space between the bed and the wall, making it difficult to walk around. Also, the walls are thin and need soundproofing. But the service was excellent and the people lovely. "

"Second time at this lovely hotel and will be our home from home for future stays in London. Staff are super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food and drinks are great - the residence is a fantastic perk for paying hotel guests. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the spa/ pool is a great spot to unwind and recharge the batteries. Location is perfect with Covent Garden one way and Piccadilly/ lovely parks in the other direction. Can’t fault this hotel "

"Perfect location for arriving by train and exploring york. Staff were all incredibly helpful, polite snd professional. The option of being able to leave your bags with the hotel before and after check was great. Room was ok, bed was adequate for our night stay. the hotel does recognise that not all rooms are perfect as it is a older building. "
