"This was a weekend get away for me and my adult sons. I had spent a lot of time in WV (mostly caving) when I was in my 20's like them and love the area. We had a wonderful time and the Bear Valley Cabin was our home away from home. "I decided to stay here as a gift to myself for Mother’s Day weekend with my dog.We had a great time!So easy to check in,close to stores such as groceries etc,and the nature trail I wanted to take my pet to was 10 minutes away.I would just say be aware of staying here in the warmer months.I had a few bug friends when I got in the hot tub but they didn’t bother me.I will definitely be coming back!"
