"gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps."

"The cabin is so quaint and cute. Perfect couple's getaway! Everything seemed very new and clean. Erika was very communicative and east to work with as well! The cabin is tucked away in a secluded area so you get the enjoy the peacefulness but still within a 15 minute drive to restaurants and the National Park. Highly recommend and would stay again! "My family had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this property. My kids loved seeing the deer every morning. We spent a lot of our time in the sunroom and on the deck (so scenic and relaxing) and the coffee bar was much appreciated. There is a store, River Country Store, less than 10 mins from the location where you can pick up food and other things if needed. "Great location close to Blackwater Falls State Park and the two towns of Davis and Thomas. Communications with host suburb! All I needed to cook meals with stove, microwave, pots/pans, coffeemaker; Small space but just right for my solo retreat at waterfalls, rivers, trails for hiking! Highly recommend !!"
