We had a great stay at The Flat. It was clean and cozy and was a great location to spend the weekend at the Gorge. The only negative was how much you could hear the unit above in the bedroom of the flat.

Great location for local attractions, super clean, nice amenities! The only thing holding me back from a 5 star review, is that the bed and pillows we're super uncomfortable. I seriously don't mean to be harsh, but, I think a bed sheet on a concrete sidewalk may have been just as comfortable.If the owner fixes this, it will be an amazing stay, because everything else was great!

3-Day Stay at the Flat

It was wonderful. A perfect little getaway stay for going to see the New River Gorge National Park. The listing was accurate, and although a little noisy, it was very cozy and clean. The host was great with communication and provided helpful tips and popular places nearby.

Great Location for us.

We originally booked in July, but our Granddaughter was born sooner than expected. The host was gracious enough to switch our dates. Thank you Harry for your flexibility. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the Flat. The location was perfect for us. Great stay overall. Would definitely stay there again.

Base camp for New River Gorge

This apartment was the perfect base camp for a couple visiting the National Park. It had everything we would need. The kitchen was a good size and very functional. The bedroom was comfy and there’s a nice living room area to relax. The only issue was that we only had one night to stay in the area. Would definitely book here again for a longer visit.

Close to National Park

After a long day of commuting and exploring it was so nice to drive a short distance and park right in front of the unit to unload. Everything was very clean. Recliner couch was super comfy. Washer and dryer worked great with provided soap. Bedroom does sit close to the road. Appreciated the box fan for white noise.
