I love how cute this cottage is! It is in the perfect location for our visit with our daughter and grandchildren! The cottage is very clean and the decor is pretty. We loved watching the birds and squirrels on the back porch, too! We will definitely stay here again!

Cute house, good location for a quick visit to Pipestem State Park, on our way to South Carolina. Quiet/away from all the hotels near the highway.

We only stayed here one night to break up our road trip, we arrived a bit early and the host was just leaving as we were pulling in. We had the opportunity to chat with her and she was very friendly and helpful on places to see in the area. She was very sweet!

We always enjoy our stays at the Red Bird Cottage. Anita is a great host and provides a great "home away from home" for our ski weekends!

Anita is an amazing host! This was our third stay and we plan to come again next year. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. Everything is carefully planned out for you to have all you need.

Lovely little cottage tucked away in the beautiful hills of WV. We were only there for a short visit, but it was a peaceful nights sleep for our family of 6. The mini colas and brownie bites were a welcome treat after our 5.5 hour trip. Our first VBRO experience was a pleasant one. There were some crumbs and dirt in the pullout couch, but after a clean sheet was put on the mattress, we were good.

Red Bird Cottage was just the right size for the 3 of us; had everything we needed and more.

Really enjoyed our stay both times; will probably become our favorite half-way home overnight+ place to stay.

We stopped at this lovely house in both ends of our family trip and it was perfect each time! It is a cozy little cabin that worked quite well for our family. It’s not too far from the main Interstate and there were lots of food options just down the road. We did not have a chance to use the firepit, but the porch very nice. All of the rooms were very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with the flat/plate ware we needed.

Absolutely, adorable little place great for an overnight day or even even longer very clean and decorated and supplied with anything you might need A little Bit out from town But so worth it would highly recommend
