"Great home and location. Back deck could use a few more umbrellas. During our stay an additional umbrella was requested and brought over very quickly. Great service. On our last day (Tuesday), there was a lot of construction noise coming from the brewery. Not sure what was going on, but it eventually stopped. Would definitely come back again. My parents loved their 60 th Anniversary celebration."

"The views of the Shenandoah River were incredible! Good A/C (especially in 90F) and nicely maintained home. Have to put your own linens on but no big deal. The hike down to the river for fishing can be tricky, and there's not much room to stand down there. We ended up wading in. "

"This was a perfect house for a group getaway! The property is immaculate with beautiful views. We had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The location is so convenient to downtown and great wineries. Would definitely stay here again"

"Our stay at Bala’s home was wonderful. The location right on the river is perfect for a relaxing getaway. A very close drive to the National Park and Front Royal. The home is updated nicely and amenities are well stocked, above average kitchen supplies from the typical vacation rental. Do note that there are no tvs in the bedrooms which we appreciated but some may not. Overall it was great. "

"The bungalow tucked under the trees is so delightfully comfy. The house is beautifully decorated with authentic art. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything one needs for a perfect country getaway."

"Love staying here, quiet and everything I need for an overnight stay with my little dogs. Their generator did great for cooling the apartment when there was a power outage in the area due to thunderstorms."

"My husband and I stayed in this home for our annual anniversary trip. We love hiking and brought our dog with us for some active relaxation. This home was one of the best we have stayed in. It had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Front Royal where there was plenty to do; yet also steps away from a trail in the neighborhood, which intersects with the AT. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. "

"We had a relaxing time in Dolly’s spacious and cute cottage! A great property w plenty of inside and outside space to gather yet still be separate if desired. The communication and information provided prior to arriving is the best we’ve experienced w/any VRBO. Tv, WiFi and hot tub all functioned well. Good night sleep was had by all and beds were comfy! We were able to make meals in the kitchen and enjoyed the large dining room table. We’d definitely return when looking to vacation in that...

"Impressed by the thoughtfulness of the amenities.There was everything we needed. Not 1 trash bag, an entire box. Not 1 dish tab, an entire package. Shampoo/body wash in every bathroom. Fire wood under the deck. Salt & pepper in the pantry. Paper towels, ice in the freezer, ect. Ect. Best part, the linens! Clean, fresh, modern sheets/blankets. Everything was perfect and made for a peaceful stay while visiting family in the area. THANK YOU! "

"We really enjoyed this home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of towels left for us. We especially loved the screened in porch which also had plenty of seating for family time. The home is not only beautiful inside but also on the outside with nice landscape and attention to detail. The owner was very accommodating and had great communication. We will definitely stay here again while visiting family, "
