"A really nice two day getaway. The Appalachian Trail is easily accessed from the top of Rocky Spring Rd. Directions were excellent; cabin was cleaned and everything well labeled for visitors. "

"If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain retreat surrounded by the sounds of nature and a short drive from beautiful horse and wine country this is your place! The cabin itself is very rustic and well appointed with a great front porch that’s perfect for sipping your morning coffee. We appreciated the unique artwork and decor as well. "We had nice pleasant stay at the River Front Retreat. Everything was provided to make the stay comfortable. Property was friendly and was fast and easy to contact. I highly recommend the place for a relaxing getaway. "

"We really enjoyed this home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of towels left for us. We especially loved the screened in porch which also had plenty of seating for family time. The home is not only beautiful inside but also on the outside with nice landscape and attention to detail. The owner was very accommodating and had great communication. We will definitely stay here again while visiting family, "

"The house is beautiful and has all the appliances you could ever use. It had coffee and filters stocked in the pantry. Sheets and towels were high quality. There is a 50 charge to use the hot tub which was not stated in the description. The road coming into the property is very steep and luckily my SUV had 4 wheel drive for easy access."

"We had a wonderful stay. The property was perfect and in a great location. Walking distance to downtown and the Saturday farmers market. The property was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Amazing courtyard to enjoy the bottle of wine William provided. Highly recommend this property. "

"The home was a perfect space and a perfect location. Less than 15 mins from every convenience you could need. Less than 10 mins from Skyline Drive entrance. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating with all questions. Very clean and well furnished with anything needed. We would stay again!"
