"A lovely stay. Car park was difficult to find, quite full. Entrance was also a little difficult to find, but once we did, the staff were lovely and accommodating. Lady from reception walked us right up to our room and welcomed us in. Made sure we were sorted for dinner plans etc. The standard room was great, very warm and cosy, lots of room. Bathroom was great and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, we were given a menu with lots of good options. We went with toast and croissants...

"Warm welcome at reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean as was the bathroom. As it was Christmas, they left a box of Quality Street in the room for us. Nice touch. Buffet breakfast was good. Value for money."

"Cheap and cheerful no frills budget hotel with very friendly and kind staff. Nice and spacious room, pretty comfortable bed. Shower head stuck to the wall, which is impractical, otherwise a decent bathroom. Good parking, even if it's paid, and decent food options next door. "

"We had a lovely stay at the Crowne! Beds were so comfy and rooms were spacious. Breakfast was fantastic way to start the day and the pool was great to unwind at the end of your day - even better thay children could not access it after 6 pm! Close to shops and touristy bits and a great starting point to go a take excursions out of the city. "
