"A lovely stay. Car park was difficult to find, quite full. Entrance was also a little difficult to find, but once we did, the staff were lovely and accommodating. Lady from reception walked us right up to our room and welcomed us in. Made sure we were sorted for dinner plans etc. The standard room was great, very warm and cosy, lots of room. Bathroom was great and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, we were given a menu with lots of good options. We went with toast and croissants...

The staff was also so kind of let us know about the history of the manor which was fascinating. We have told many friends and family about this place and we will definitely be back. "

"Beautiful grounds, historic buildings and a well appointed and equipped spa helped us enjoy a luxurious and relaxing mini break. The full vegetarian breakfast was delicious and really well cooked - a nice bonus to have this included for a minimal extra charge. Tracy at breakfast and Gino in the evening were stand out members of staff but everyone we encountered was as helpful and friendly. Beth & Damon on reception gave us a warm welcome. "

"Clean room and bathroom with good quality complementary items and coffee machine. Breakfast was varied with cooked options and cold buffet style foods. The hotel/pub itself is beautiful listed building. Bar and food was quite expensive for what you get, so we ate and drank elsewhere. Handily, the hotel is in a fantastic location to access shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs."

"We had to be in Oxfordshire for the funeral of a very special friend and came across the Red Lion in our search for accommodation for a couple of days. Our experience was excellent - the room was fine and very comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent menus. But the main comment is how brilliant your staff were - they made our visit so much more agreeable than it might have been."
