"Lovely room, pub delightful, staff very accommodating , breakfast lovely and if wanted could have fully cooked but continental breakfast more than adequate. Enjoyed our lovely time there."

Im Inneren des Hotels geht der äußere Flair leider etwas verloren, eher so 80er Jahre Style. "The consistency of room service standard was not there. One day my room was cleaned well, i had 4 bottles of water i had 4 biscuits for each of us staying in the room. The next day i had no bottles of water, no biscuits, the two extra beds were not made. I was very disappointed upon entering our room after a long day out. "

"The bedrooms and halls probably needed to be refurbished 30 years ago. They certainly are long overdue a completely overhaul today. The bathroom was grimy and there was no excuse for not providing a single chair in the room. What was the point in providing even the tired dressing/table desk without one?"

"Absolutely love this place. Second stay here and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Emily at front desk goes over and beyond to help with anything we ask. Rooms are clean, bed sleeps great, AC works great, rare find worth staying. Close to the bus stop for travel into the city. Spacious parking. Only regret is we didn’t stay longer. "

"Could be outstanding but the kitchen lets them down. The location, hotel and staff are wonderful but the food is where the shine falls off. Decent menu but most of the food was bland, lacking taste or overly greasy (fish). Breakfast was wrong both mornings (even with simple request), kitchen needs to read the orders properly.. At the two dinners, both night people on tables around us were commenting on their food.. (which is such a shame for a lovely hotel..."

"The property was close to the city centre, but since our room is close to the common toilets and bathrooms, the customers were super noisy at night. They woke us up during the night. If you are looking for a place that is quiet, I would suggest you look for somewhere else."

"The property offers good value. It’s a reasonable price and a 12 minute walk to the City center. The in room amenities were okay. The staff were helpful. We had an issue with hot water which was promptly. The Ethos cafe is handy but the food options including breakfast is only average What I didn’t like: the property should disclose prominently that accessibility may be an issue as there were many steps both to check in and to our room."
