Welcome/Checkin: Though we arrived late, the welcome was very underwhelming and cold.
Parking: We were also charged £15 for parking which is unusual when staying at a hotel.
Room: Upon arrival in the room, we were very disappointed. The bed was a small double and there was barely any room to walk around the bed, no wardrobe and just 2 coathangers on the wall. The bathroom, though small, had sufficient amenities, however there were a few issues to note. The toilet seat was loose, the water pressure was very bad and there was only one towel for 2 people.
Issues raised: We made do at the time because we'd had a long journey, but I raised the bed size and lack of towels on checkout, stating that I thought we'd been put in the wrong room, and was told that all beds are the same size (which customers need to be made aware of when booking) and that reception had extra towels if customers needed (which should be brought to customers attention when checking in or simply requested to room service to place the number of towels corresponding to the number of guests checking in).
Overall, very disappointing and would not stay again. Suitable for solo/business travel only.
