"Welcoming staff, personal service from a relatively small hotel. Room was great, hotel also had a complementary taxi sercice to and from events centre on site, which was very welcome as the weather wasn't the best. Breakfast was served quickly by attentive staff. Will definitely be stopping again."

"We stayed in the family studio at The Crown Inn for a wedding at Lapstone Barn which was just 10 minutes away. The room was perfect for us, with a double and 2 single beds. The room has its own entrance away from the main building and we found it quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great and service from all members of staff friendly and welcoming."

The service team followed through with our request for one room on the ground level to accommodate my mother who has difficulty walking up stairs AND placed a roll away bed in the second room. "We had to be in Oxfordshire for the funeral of a very special friend and came across the Red Lion in our search for accommodation for a couple of days. Our experience was excellent - the room was fine and very comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent menus. But the main comment is how brilliant your staff were - they made our visit so much more agreeable than it might have been."
