"The Boathouse is literally on the water with all of the amenities you need to take in the pond and nature. It is a quiet and serene area. My only recommendation is load up with beer, wine and food before arriving. You won’t want to leave and there isn’t much food in area."

"The kind of place you almost don’t want to review so it stays a best kept secret. But seriously, this was a great find. Spacious, clean, easy access, and a 4 min drive from Vernon Downs, where I was attending a conference. There were a nice amount of amenities for the price point. Good quality towels and toiletries. "This was an amazing overnight stay! So much better than we were expecting to enjoy it. The lions, all 4, were in front of our window for almost the entire stay, both in the afternoon/night and again in the morning before leaving. "We enjoyed our stay. The host was awesome and even called to see if we had any questions before our stay. The only thing that caught us off guard was there is not central AC, it was two window units. Just something to know incase you are like us and like a cool/cold house.
