"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

" We thoroughtly enjoyed our stay! We were attending a wedding nearby, and I needed a place to finsh up the wedding cake i was asked to make. This property was ideal. The rooms were amply sized, the kitchen was spacious and well appointed. The smart TV was ready to log into. The water got nice and hot, and the open bathroom vanity area made getting ready easy for 4 people. We didn't consider the washer/dryer in our choice of the property, but when we had a clothing emergency it was...

"We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, especially with the beatuiy lake nearby. The cabin was clean, comfortable We really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the evening. "Loved the cabin! My only complaint was that the upstairs bed got hot during the night making my daughter uncomfortable. We put the fan up there the second night but it didn’t seem to help. She slept on the loveseat. Everything else we loved! "

"We had a wonderful stay at this Cozy Cabin in Black Bear Resort. The location was fantastic. We loved the woodsy atmosphere, peace and quiet and ability to walk around the grounds. Being so close to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley parks was ideal. The cabin is very clean, the kitchen is perfect and the bed is comfy. We were happy campers. Thank you for a great visit."

"This place was perfect for our family, with comfortable living and sleeping arrangements. I especially appreciated the comfortable pillows. The place was well stocked and the location was a short drive to town and hiking. While close enough to walk to the town, the road had only a narrow shoulder so I did not feel comfortable doing so. "
