"We had a great weekend staying in the property. The wood burner was great for a chilly early spring weekend, Elizabeth was very clear and accommodating in her communications making it very easy and everything was just great. My only regret is not booking the third night to stay for the Solar Eclipse and to get to explore the property further. "We really enjoyed staying in this little home. It is within walking distance of downtown Watkins Glen so it is very easy to walk to if you choose to do so. The inside was very clean and well kept. We liked the close proximity to various winerys and restaurants. It made it very easy to stop back and drop off our goodies we collected throughout the days we were there."

"This place has a great location. The neighborhood is safe and so quiet. All of the beds are very comfortable. The only drawback is that this is not the entire house. We were surprised there is an upstairs apartment. We did not see any mention of this in the narrative. The folks upstairs were quiet, so it was fine. Also, it stated there was a hot tub and sauna, which there were not. Not a big deal for us and we we still enjoyed ourselves."

"These cabins are perfect for a long weekend stay. They are very clean and comfortable! Everything you would need is there. The owner lives across the street and came over to great us while he was mowing the lawn. He gave us a tour of the property! You will have access to the lake and a large pavilion if you can walk down the many stairs to the lake. The fire pit is huge with lots of chairs. There was lots of wood, paper and matches to get it going."

"Very unique octagon home. Nice dark sky for telescope viewing. Would love to come back in spring/summertime to see the gardens that are outside the sliding glass doors and walk the nature path to the waterfall. (It was pretty cold while we were there, and we were visiting family, so did not have time to enjoy the surrounding beauty. ) Bed was very comfortable, and we slept great!"

"Beautiful home off the beaten track. Lots of privacy and everything you need to hide away from the world for a short time. Short walk to a park with playgrounds for the kids with an easy 20 minute drive into Ithaca. Furniture was more comfortable than most vacation rentals. Very detailed instructions on how to use everything in the house. Would definitely rent again. Thank you. (We did not have any reason to talk to the property manager.)"
