"We had a wonderful stay at The Ludlow Hotel. The property has such a cool, stylish atmosphere while still feeling warm and comfortable. The lobby and fireplace seating area were especially beautiful and inviting, and we found ourselves wanting to spend time there even when we weren’t heading in or out. "Hotel hits all the 5 star spots apart from 2 points. 1 - the rooms are not soundproof at all, and being able to hear the conversations in the room next door so clear that i could repeat what they were saying is not what i would expect. Second - the front desk staff are not as polished and committed to the level of service i would expect from a top end 5 star hotel. Doormen were top class. All in all it's a good hotel, but with so much choice in NY, i have stayed in better."

"Impeccably clean rooms. Noise from the roof was minimal, despite me being on floor 20. Front desk staff was nice and friendly throughout my stay. Especially appreciated the complementary water and tea, as well as the microwave on floor 2 so I could reheat my pizza."

"We checked in at 2:45 for a 3pm check in and our room was not ready until 4:40 pm. On top of that the elevators in the property do not work and caused us to wait 20-30 minutes every morning. We ended up having to take the stairs multiple times. "
