"Very clean"

"Lovely cosy room in the original building, nice spacious bathroom (only niggle is that a chair to put clothes on would have been handy). Comfy bed, nice sheets. We stay at the Chesford regularly and it's always a reliably good stay. Breakfast is very good and varied. Plenty of gluten free options for our coeliac daughter. We tried room service this time, easy to order and very tasty chicken burger. Staying again tomorrow night with dogs, this has previously been very easy, the grounds are...

"Beautiful grounds, historic buildings and a well appointed and equipped spa helped us enjoy a luxurious and relaxing mini break. The full vegetarian breakfast was delicious and really well cooked - a nice bonus to have this included for a minimal extra charge. Tracy at breakfast and Gino in the evening were stand out members of staff but everyone we encountered was as helpful and friendly. Beth & Damon on reception gave us a warm welcome. "
